WITH JUST THE TWO OF THEM, ON ABC'S "LAST MAN STANDING"
"Putting a Hit on Christmas" - Vanessa, worn out from the recent Thanksgiving holiday, longs for the quiet, no-fuss Christmases when it was just her and Mike. Since he doesn't have a clue about what to get Vanessa for Christmas, he decides a family-free holiday is the perfect gift, and now must figure out a way to get Boyd and the girls away for the holidays. Meanwhile, Ed mistakenly shoots an American bald eagle instead of a turkey, on "Last Man Standing," FRIDAY, DECEMBER 14 (8:00-8:31 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
"Last Man Standing" stars Tim Allen as Mike Baxter, Nancy Travis as Vanessa Baxter, Molly Ephraim as Mandy Baxter, Kaitlyn Dever as Eve Baxter, Amanda Fuller as Kristin Baxter, Christoph Sanders as Kyle Anderson, Flynn Morrison as Boyd Baxter and Hector Elizondo as Ed Alzate.
Guest starring are Jordan Masterson as Ryan, Hope Lauren as Chloe.
"Putting a Hit on Christmas" was written by Mike Teverbaugh and directed by John Pasquin.
"Last Man Standing" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound. A TV parental guideline will be assigned closer to airdate.

DESCRIPTION: (from ABC's press release, May 2013) Tim Allen returns for a third season in "Last Man Standing" as traditional manly man "Mike Baxter," who continues to be surrounded by forces seeking to challenge his ideals on just about everything in which he believes. Mike is often the odd man out in a home dominated by his loving wife, Vanessa, and their three daughters -- Kristin, a 24-year-old single mom who recently moved out of her parents' home with her 6-year-old son, Boyd; the outspoken Mandy, 19, who has taken a romantic interest in Kyle, Kristin's former boyfriend; and 15-year-old Eve, who has her father's blessing to be in Junior ROTC. Assorted friends and neighbors also seem to be interested in expressing their strong points of view to Mike on a variety of issues, ranging from politics, holiday celebration etiquette and the environment to how his grandson should be raised.
