Chef Ramsay is in for a challenge when he heads to Everett, WA, to visit the Prohibition Grille. Professional belly dancer-turned-restaurant owner Rishi is struggling to keep her business afloat and is in desperate need of help. As a result of her lack of prior restaurant experience, Rishi leaves control of the kitchen in the hands of her head chef, who is constantly preoccupied and gives little focus to the restaurant. Constant complaints from customers have Rishi worried, but will she take Chef Ramsay's advice? DESCRIPTION: (from FOX's press release, May 2013) Chef Gordon Ramsay returns for a sixth season as he treks across the country to help struggling restaurants keep their businesses above water. Without any other options, the restaurant owners turnto Gordon Ramsay and his team for one last hope before having to shut their doors forever. Many of these restaurants are beyond repair, leaving Ramsay to face a nearly impossible task. Some will close their doors, others will get back on their feet, but all are calling on Chef Ramsay to wake them up from their KITCHEN NIGHTMARES. Each week, Chef Ramsay will visit a new establishment with myriad problems - these restaurants are empty, dirty and the owners have nowhere else to turn. He will delve deep into the inner workings of each eatery, from unsanitary refrigerators to lazy and inexperienced staff, in order to diagnose the real problems. When Ramsay brings the issues to light for the owners and their staffs, some immediately will get on board to make the changes, while others will reject Ramsay's advice. Whether he suggests changes to the restaurant operations, offers updates to the menu or gives the establishment a makeover, Chef Ramsay will do all he can to save these often unsalvageable restaurants. But no matter what Ramsay does, it ultimately is up to the restaurant owners to take his advice and use it - or face closure. From Yanni's in Seattle, to La Galleria 33 in Boston, to the Olde Hitching Post in Hanson, MA, Ramsay has used his five-starculinary expertise and knowledge to help numerous restaurants on the brink of closure get back on their feet.
