A tough prosecutor fights to convict an alleged arsonist and get justice for a family destroyed by a deadly fire and a high-tech art heist sting is on the brink of falling part in the next BROOKLYN DA to be broadcast Tuesday, June 11, 2012 (10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

BROOKLYN DA is a six-part news documentary series focusing on an eclectic group of men and women in the Kings County District Attorney's Office and their lives inside and outside of the courtroom.

In the third broadcast, prosecutor Howard Jackson builds a case against an alleged arsonist who set fire to a Brooklyn tenement that left five people dead in one of New York's deadliest fires in years. The blaze killed the wife of a man who tossed his baby to the ground and the dramatic scene was captured on nearby security cameras. Viewers also see Jackson as he splits his time between being a father, a husband and spending late nights in the office planning a courtroom strategy. Also, ADA Lawrence Oh paces the halls of the Kings County District Attorney's Office while investigators in the field watch as their long-planned takedown of an alleged art thief is at risk of being exposed.

BROOKLYN DA was created by Patti Aronofsky, who is also the senior supervising producer. Lisa Freed, Alec Sirken and Taigi Smith are the producers. Doreen Schechter and Richard Barber are the producer-editors. Mead Stone is the senior creative producer. Anthony Batson is the senior broadcast producer.
