SEASON FINALE

ON THE FIRST EVER DIRTY JOBS EDITION, 24 CONTESTANTS WILL COMPETE FOR THE CHANCE TO WALK AWAY FILTHY RICH, ON THE SEASON FINALE OF ABC'S "WIPEOUT"

"It's a Dirty Job But Someone's Gotta Wipeout" - It's about to get dirty on the Season Finale of ABC's "Wipeout," THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 19 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET), as some of America's finest (and smelliest) employees who've made careers out of their own dirty jobs get messy in their off-time on the "Wipeout" course. As expected, 24 dirty jobbers like "Pooper Scooper," "Bustodian" and "Roach Poacher" must face a spattering of stinky stuff like "Failboxes with Skunks" and "The Taco Truck," after which only the 12 contestants with the best overall times will get a chance to rub elbows with "Octopushy" in the next round. Some may sink, some may swim, but only six get the chance to kick it like it's 1991 on the flannel-covered "Wipeout Greatest Hits: Grunge Edition," which narrows the field one more time to just three top contenders. These few remaining unsavory workers get the chance to tackle the Wipeout Zone and compete for a clean $50,000.

"Wipeout" has successfully taped over 100 episodes, a feat we'll be celebrating all season long. In addition, the series recently won the 2013 Nickelodeon Kids Choice Award for Favorite Reality Show for the second year in a row.

Each week, 24 energetic new contestants of all ages, shapes and sizes go head to head through four rounds of demanding but hilarious obstacle courses to win the title of Wipeout Champion and the $50,000 grand prize. In the end only one contestant will be victorious; everyone else will Wipeout!

"Wipeout" executive producers are Matt Kunitz ("101 Ways to Leave a Game Show," "Fear Factor") and Scott Larsen. Kevin Wehrenberg, Trice Barto and J. Rupert Thompson are co-executive producers. The series is produced by Endemol USA.
