DOES MOTHER REALLY KNOW BEST? AIRING ON "20/20"

Airs Friday, March 28 at 10 pm on ABC

From a mom who stalked a baseball coach because her son wasn't selected for a travel team, to a mother breastfeeding while drinking, "20/20" reports on questionable parental behavior. "20/20" airs on FRIDAY, MARCH 28 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. Reports include:

· Did a mom ask her son to kill his own stepfather? Gio Benitez tells the unbelievable story of one woman's elaborate plot to have her estranged husband killed. Was Amy Bessey looking to cash in on Robert Bessey's life insurance policy, or was she out for vengeance after decades of alleged abuse? Gio Benitez has the exclusive jail-house interview.

· Tasha Adams was enjoying a couple of drinks, and dinner at a local pizzeria in Conway, Arkansas, while she was drinking she was also breastfeeding her six month old baby who was getting restless. To her surprise, local police showed up at the restaurant, arrested her and charged the mother of three with endangering the welfare of a child. Little was Adams aware that an off the clock waitress, Jackie Conners, was observing Adams and her party and reported to police that Adams was consuming "drink after drink" while simultaneously breastfeeding her infant. In "20/20's" exclusive interview, Adams is adamant that she only had two beers, and she did nothing wrong, "I believe, and I'll say it til the day I die, I was sober enough to breastfeed my kid." Authorities dropped the charges against her but the waitress, Conners, was let go from her job at Gusano's a few days after the incident, claims she was fired for taking action into her own hands. Juju Chang reports.

· Many kid sports are out of control, but sometimes it's the mom and dads who belong in the penalty box. Lately, there seem to be more reports about brawls breaking out among overzealous parents in stands. But that is not all, "20/20" tracks the case of Janet Chiauzzi, a Long Island mom who, for over a year, secretly stalked and terrorized a family all because her son was not picked for the travel baseball team. In an exclusive interview with Deborah Roberts, the victims describe the terrible ordeal that turned their lives upside down.

"20/20" is anchored by Elizabeth Vargas and David Muir. David Sloan is the senior executive producer.
