NEW YORK, September 29, 2015 - Welcome to me! Paul F. Tompkins is a class act in the world premiere of "Paul F. Tompkins: Crying and Driving," airing on Comedy Central on Saturday, October 10 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT.

Filmed at The Palace Theatre in Los Angeles, "Crying and Driving" covers everything from the time Tompkins experienced scream weeping, a few stand-out moments from his marriage, such as his memorable trip to The Magic Castle and how the mindless process of washing dishes can be frightening, and the difficulty involved in shooting a driving scene when he's never obtained a driver's license.

Leading up to the on-air premiere, Comedy Central Stand-Up will feature preview clips from the special. Fans can follow Tompkins on Twitter at @PFTompkins, and tweet using the hashtag #CryDrivePFT to join the social chatter around the special.

Tompkins is a comedian, actor, host and writer, known for his work on television programs such as "Mr. Show with Bob and David," "Real Time with Bill Maher" and "Best Week Ever with Paul F. Tompkins." Currently, Tompkins hosts the Fusion talk show "No, You Shut Up!" and the Earwolf podcast "SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins," and voices the role of "Mr. Peanutbutter" on the Netflix animated series "BoJack Horseman."
