ON THE TWO-PART SEASON FINALE 'BOSTON EMS,' PATIENT VOWS TO TURN HIS LIFE AROUND FOR HIS CHILD IF HE SURVIVES HIS GUNSHOT WOUND

'Boston EMS' Airs Saturday, August 27, on ABC

Currently in its second season, "Boston EMS" gives viewers the chance ride along with the proud men and women of Boston Emergency Medical Services, one of America's most seasoned team of first responders - the first step in the chain of trauma care. The two-part season finale of "Boston EMS" airs SATURDAY, AUGUST 27 (9:00-11:00 p.m. EDT), on the ABC Television Network.

On the two-part season finale, a patient gains a new perspective on life after being shot in the thigh, telling paramedics and EMT's that he'll turn his life around to care for his nine-month-old child if he survives.

Across town, paramedic Randy Souza shows tough love to a sick patient refusing life-saving medical treatment, persuading him to accept care for the sake of his young children.

Paying close attention to anything that has the potential to be a mass causality incident, Deputy Supt. Ed Hassan races to a school where carbon monoxide alarms are ringing and students report feeling dizzy.

Terence Wrong is the executive producer of "Boston EMS," and Erica Baumgart is the senior producer. Andy Genovese, Aysu Grodowski, Monica DelaRosa and Sarah Namias are series producers. Emily Wynn and Carly Stipek are field producers. "Boston EMS" is produced by ABC's Lincoln Square Productions for ABC News.
