FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - The highly anticipated eighth season of AMC's "The Walking Dead" debuted Sunday as the highest-rated premiere of the year among adults 18-49, and remains the #1 show in all of television among the coveted demo. On the all new episode, "The Damned," airing Sunday, October 29th at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT, the plan involving Alexandrians, Kingdommers and Hilltoppers unfolds. As Rick continues to fight, he encounters a familiar face.

Last year, Rick Grimes and his group of survivors were confronted with their deadliest challenge yet. With the comfort of Alexandria, they let their guard down, only to be reminded how brutal the world they live in can be. The introduction of Negan and the Saviors broke our group.

This year, Rick brings "All Out War" to Negan and his forces. The Saviors are larger, better-equipped, and ruthless -- but Rick and the unified communities are fighting for the promise of a brighter future. The battle lines are drawn as they launch into a kinetic, action-packed offensive.

Based on the comic book series written by Robert Kirkman and published by Image Comics, "The Walking Dead" reigns as television's most watched drama for Adults 18-49. "The Walking Dead" tells the story of the months and years that follow after a zombie apocalypse, and follows a group of survivors, led by police officer Rick Grimes, who travel in search of a safe and secure home. The series is executive produced by showrunner Scott M. Gimple, Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, David Alpert, Greg Nicotero and Tom Luse.

Following episode two of "The Walking Dead," beginning at 10:00 p.m.ET/PT, viewers can catch an all new episode of "Talking Dead," hosted by Chris Hardwick featuring showrunner Scott Gimple and "This Is Us" star Chris Sullivan.

Then late night, an all-new episode of "Comic Book Men" airs. In the new episode, "Nightmare on Broad Street," Legendary horror icon Robert Englund, aka Freddy Krueger, personally delivers a birthday present to Ming.

In its seventh season, AMC's popular unscripted series "Comic Book Men," takes another dive into the world of geekdom by following the antics in and around master fanboy Kevin Smith's New Jersey comic shop, Jay and Silent Bob's Secret Stash. Leading the team behind the shop's counter are Walt, Bryan, Michael and Ming, who geek out over mind-blowing pop culture artifacts and the legends behind them. Special guests this season include "Luke Cage" star Mike Colter, Rosario Dawson, Burt Ward, Method Man, and Freddy Kruger himself, Robert Englund. Whether it's buying and selling memorabilia or embarking on wild adventures away from the store, The Stash cast shares all the juicy details with Kevin during their hilarious podcast, which is woven throughout the series.
