"Sub Standard" - Jessica becomes concerned when she discovers that Eddie's extended substitute English teacher has thrown out the class syllabus and is instructing the students - and her son - in a radically progressive way. Meanwhile, Louis and Honey try in vain to find a workout group that can help them both lose some weight, and Emery doubts Evan's ability to extract a painful splinter from his finger, on "Fresh Off the Boat," FRIDAY, NOV. 16 (8:00-8:30 p.m. EST), as part of the new TGIF programming block on The ABC Television Network, streaming and on demand.

Inspired by a true story, "Fresh Off the Boat" stars Randall Park as Louis Huang, Constance Wu as Jessica Huang, Hudson Yang as Eddie Huang, Forrest Wheeler as Emery Huang, Ian Chen as Evan Huang, Lucille Soong as Grandma Huang, Chelsey Crisp as Honey and Ray Wise as Marvin.

Guest starring is Evan Hannemann as Barefoot Dave, Ray Ford as Mr. Tim, Reece Caddell as Becky, Ryan Hansen as Mr. Grant, Meera Simhan as Catherine, Hugh Holub as doctor, Dawan Owens as Dax, Kimberly Birch as Mrs. Norwall and Emily Berry as Principal Mathis.
