'FRESH OFF THE BOAT' CELEBRATES ITS MILESTONE 100th EPISODE

EDDIE IS STRANDED IN TAIWAN WHEN THINGS GO WRONG WITH HIS CULTURAL EXCHANGE TRIP ON AN ALL-NEW EPISODE OF ABC'S 'FRESH OFF THE BOAT,' FRIDAY, APRIL 5

"Under the Taipei Sun"- Eddie ships off to Taiwan for the cultural exchange program, blithely ignoring his parents' advice about how hard it was for them when they came to America for the first time. After all, he's been to Taiwan before, what could go wrong? Plenty, when he ends up separated from his group with no money and next-to-no language skills. Meanwhile, back home in Orlando, the Huangs adjust to life without Eddie on "Fresh Off the Boat," FRIDAY, APRIL 5 (8:00-8:30 p.m. EDT), on The ABC Television Network, streaming and on demand. "Under the Taipei Sun" is the milestone 100th episode of ABC's critically acclaimed, groundbreaking series, which premiered in February 2015. Simu Liu ("Kim's Convenience") guest stars as Willie.

Inspired by a true story, "Fresh Off the Boat" stars Randall Park as Louis Huang, Constance Wu as Jessica Huang, Hudson Yang as Eddie Huang, Forrest Wheeler as Emery Huang, Ian Chen as Evan Huang, Lucille Soong as Grandma Huang, Chelsey Crisp as Honey and Ray Wise as Marvin.

Guest starring is Trevor Larcom as Trent, Simu Liu as Willie and Jun Yu as Pete.

"Under the Taipei Sun" was written by Jeff Chiang and directed by Chris Koch.

"Fresh Off the Boat" was written by Nahnatchka Khan, who also serves as executive producer. Jake Kasdan, Melvin Mar, Keith Heisler, Matt Kuhn and Laura McCreary are executive producers. The series is produced by 20th Century Fox Television.

"Fresh Off the Boat" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format with 5.1-channel surround sound. A TV parental guideline will be assigned to this episode at a later date.
