A CALIFORNIA MAN SHOT DEAD IN HIS HOME - HIS EX-WIFE ADMITS SHE PULLED THE TRIGGER - DID A PHOTO POSTED ON SOCIAL MEDIA LEAD TO HIS DEATH?

"48 Hours" Investigates in "The Killing of Daniel Green"

Saturday, July 25

Daniel Green was shot four times and left for dead in his Exeter, Calif., home. At first, his ex-wife Erika Sandoval denied having anything to do with his death. Then she changed her story. Correspondent Erin Moriarty and 48 HOURS investigate the death of Green and the case against Sandoval in an encore of "The Killing of Daniel Green" to be broadcast Saturday, July 25 (10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. 48 HOURS takes viewers inside a twisted - friends say toxic - relationship between a man and his ex-wife and a killing that rocked a California city. Green's family says he was a victim of domestic abuse and prosecutors agreed. Erika Sandoval's defense attorney Dan Chambers says she gave as good as she got. Sandoval was arrested and charged with her ex-husband's death just one week after he posted an image on Instagram with his new, younger girlfriend. What led to Green's death? Did a picture on Instagram lead Sandoval to crack? Or did Sandoval shoot Green after what she testified were years of physical abuse?
