October segments include:

· NIL GOLD RUSH: This summer, a seismic rule change hit college sports. For the first time ever, in a shocking reversal by the NCAA, student-athletes are legally allowed to endorse brands and make money, allowing athletes to profit from their name, image and likeness, or, "NIL." This has sparked a modern-day Gold Rush as athletes, agents and boosters navigate what some are calling the new wild, wild west of college sports. Jon Frankel reports. Producer: Nick Dolin.

· NBA GIANTS: "Real Sports" takes a look at some of the world's tallest men, who, at their very rare height of 7'5" or more, have been lured to America from overseas by the tantalizing possibility of making it into the NBA, where fame and fortune awaits. David Scott reports. Producer: Jordan Kronick.

· JALEN ROSE: Jalen Rose, member of the University of Michigan's Fab Five and 14-year veteran of the NBA, has made efforts to provide free education to underserved youth in Detroit by opening up his own school, the Jalen Rose Leadership Academy. Rose, like many of his students, never met his own father, but unlike those kids fathers, his was one of the most famous Detroit Pistons players of his time, a fact that would drive Rose to success and inspire him to open his school. Mary Carillo reports. Producer: Nisreen Habbal.

· BLIND CAMP (REVISIT): In 2015, "Real Sports" introduced the world to Camp Abilities, a revolutionary sports program for blind and visually impaired children. The campers we met a few years ago are now teenagers, thriving on sports teams and in their daily lives thanks to the lessons they learned at camp. Soledad O'Brien reports. Producer: Katie Melone.

The executive producer of REAL SPORTS WITH BRYANT GUMBEL is Joe Perskie.
