The Ipcress File, Ep. 5

Cathcart (Tom Vaughan-Lawlor, Avengers: Infinity War), dismayed by the cancellation of the neutron bomb project, draws conflicted Maddox (Ashley Thomas, Them) into a vengeful conspiracy. They need a fall guy - and Harry (Joe Cole, Gangs of London, Peaky Blinders) is passed from brutal American gaolers to the hands of the Chinese military, where he is subject to a bewildering regime of mental torture. In England, Jean's (Lucy Boynton, Bohemian Rhapsody) determination to unravel the meaning of IPCRESS drives her to extreme measures on the returned but amnesic Professor Dawson (Matthew Steer, Les Misérables). Meanwhile, the interrogation of Dr Lavotchkin arouses suspicion and Dalby (Tom Hollander, Pride & Prejudice), finding himself at the mercy of Colonel Stok (David Dencik, No Time to Die), must choose between his lover and his country.
