(from Acorn TV's press release, August 2025) The gritty, psychological crime thriller, The Crow Girl, is set to premiere exclusively on Acorn TV in the U.S. and Canada on Monday, September 8, with additional episodes premiering weekly on the platform. Adapted from Erik Axl Sund's (pen name of Swedish author duo Jerker Eriksson and Håkan Axlander Sundquist) internationally bestselling novel of the same name, the 6-episode series is created, written and executive produced by Milly Thomas (River City, Clique) and follows DCI Jeanette Kilburn (Eve Myles, Hijack, Torchwood) and eminent psychotherapist Dr. Sophia Craven (Katherine Kelly, The Long Shadow, Protection) as they join forces to hunt the killer of young men.
