After finding a dead body in his church, empathetic Canon Daniel Clement (Matthew Lewis, Harry Potter) is pulled into a murder investigation. Clashing with the strict DS Neil Vanloo (Amit Shah, Happy Valley) and his overbearing mother (Amanda Redman, New Tricks), Clement pursues a killer among his congregation. Based on the best-selling novels set in 1980s England by The Reverend Richard Coles.

Episode 6

Keeping his gruesome discovery from Neil, Clement lays a trap for the killer but he is double-crossed. Faced with an ethical dilemma, Clement is forced to examine his own nature. It falls to his mother to try to pull him back from the brink of despair.
