AMC Unveils Unscripted Programming Line-Up for First Quarter 2010

Programming Slate Features Exclusive Interview with Kevin Costner for 20th Anniversary of Academy Award(R)-Winning Dances with Wolves

Network Debuts All-New Movie Franchise Specials, Premiere Events, Marathons and More

New York, NY � January 16, 2010 � AMC announced today its unscripted programming lineup for the first quarter of 2010, including an array of on-air specials, premiere events and movie marathons. Headlining the programming slate will be an exclusive interview with Oscar winner Kevin Costner as part of an AMC Celebrates special, airing Saturday, February 6 at 8pm ET, commemorating the 20th Anniversary of the award-winning film Dances with Wolves.

In addition, the New Year will feature all-new episodes of AMC's short form programming, including "Lifecoach," "The Movie List," "Action Pack" and AMC News' "Opening Night," airing each week during primetime movies.

Below is a breakdown of the AMC's unscripted programming slate for January through March 2010.

ALL YEAR LONG

AMC's signature short-form programs craft themed nights that are story-driven and deliver a unique and customized movie watching experience for viewers.

� Mondays: "Life Coach," a web series living both on-air and online, stars Cheri Oteri as Liza, an unpredictable, hilarious and weirdly insightful therapist, offering advice to an array of clients who live all over the psychological map.

� Tuesdays: Hosted by Conor Knighton, "The Movie List" tests viewers' film knowledge as Knighton counts down a new Top Ten list. Every Tuesday night, Knighton introduces the new movie list topic � from top "chick flicks" to the best villain - and reveals the stars or films that made the cut.

� Wednesdays: "Action Pack," hosted by stand-up comedians Matt McCarthy and Nick Stevens, airs throughout AMC's back-to-back blockbuster action movies every Wednesday night and features hilarious commentary from the hosts on all aspects of the action film genre.

� Thursdays: AMC News' "Opening Night" brings viewers to the industry's most exciting red carpet movie premieres with celebrity interviews and commentary on the hottest films from host Jacob Soboroff.

JANUARY

AMC PREMIERE EVENTS

Sunday, January 17 & Sunday, January 24

This month, AMC features two network premiere events: Superman Returns (2006), directed by Bryan Singer and starring Brandon Routh, Kate Bosworth and Kevin Spacey, on Sunday, January 17 at 8pm ET, and the 2000 adventure film Space Cowboys, directed by and starring Oscar(R)-winner Clint Eastwood, Tommy Lee Jones and Keifer Sutherland, on Sunday, January 24 at 8pm ET.

AMC NEWS SPECIAL: SUNDANCE FILM FESTIVAL

Friday, January 29

As part of AMC News' ongoing coverage of live events, premieres and general entertainment industry news, host Jacob Soboroff will be on hand at this year's Sundance Film Festival. A half-hour AMC News Special, airing Friday, January 29 and 11pm ET, will feature a compilation of Jacob's interviews from Sundance's exciting red carpet, as well as reporting on which new films are bound to breakout. Jacob will also give daily updates from the festival throughout the week.

FEBRUARY

SUPER BOWL TAILGATE SPECIAL

Friday, February 5 � Sunday, February 7

AMC's "Action Pack" hosts Nick Stevens and Matt McCarthy head down to Miami to hang out at Super Bowl XLIV, and report from amongst football's most exciting and fanatical crowd. Vignettes of the guys' tailgate and game-time experience will air on Friday, February 5 throughout the 8pm primetime movie; Saturday, February 6 beginning at 9am and throughout the 8pm primetime movie; and on Sunday, February 7 from 9am throughout the 4pm movie.

AMC CELEBRATES

Saturday, February 6, Sunday, February 7 & Saturday, February 13

AMC Celebrates, on-air dedications to the anniversaries of some of the greatest films and performances of all time, will honor the following films in February, including exclusive interviews with the movie's cast members discussing their memorable filming experience. Among the celebrated films are:

� 20th Anniversary of the epic 1990 Oscar(R) darling, Dances With Wolves airing Saturday, February 6 at 8pm ET, including an exclusive interview with Academy Award(R)-winner Kevin Costner

� 25th Anniversary of Silverado airing Sunday, February 7 at 8pm ET

� 20th Anniversary of Goodfellas airing Saturday, February 13 at 8pm ET

AMC's AWARD WINNING WEEKEND

Saturday, February 20 � Sunday, February 21

AMC will feature two Academy Award(C) -winning films in celebration of awards season. The Queen, which garnered a Best Actress Oscar(C) in 2006 for Helen Mirren, will air on Saturday, February 20 at 8pm ET. Forrest Gump, which received six Academy Awards(C) in 1994, including Best Picture, Best Actor (Tom Hanks) and Best Director (Robert Zemekis), airs on Sunday, February 21 at 8pm ET. AMC will also air a five-day marathon of Forrest Gump with back to back airings from Sunday, February 21st through Saturday, February 27th.

SHUTTER ISLAND

Monday, February 15 �Wednesday, February 17 & Friday, February 18

In conjunction with the premiere of Martin Scorsese's highly anticipated film Shutter Island, AMC will debut an exclusive Storymakers short form series, featuring Leonardo DiCaprio interviewing legendary director Scorsese about the making of Shutter Island and his career as one of the most celebrated film directors of our time. The interview will air Monday, February 15 through Wednesday, February 17 during each evening's 10pm movie. In addition, on Thursday, February 18, AMC News' "Opening Night" will report from the red carpet of Shutter Island's premiere, with additional sightings and interviews from this exciting event.

"LIFECOACH" WITH CHERI OTERI

Monday Nights beginning February 15

AMC debuts "Life Coach", featuring actress and comedienne Cheri Oteri, beginning Monday, February 15. "Life Coach" is a web series which lives both on-air and online. New episodes include an all-star guest cast, including Lewis Black and Kathleen Madigan among others. "Life Coach" stars Oteri as Liza, an unpredictable, hilarious and weirdly insightful therapist, offering advice to an array of clients who live all over the psychological map. AMC Celebrates honors the 50th Anniversary of the novel To Kill a Mockingbird with a special presentation of the critically acclaimed film on Sunday, March 2 at 8pm ET.
