BEWARE OF THE LAUGHING MAN ON "GHOST WHISPERER!"

GHOST WHISPERER's most mysterious character, "The Laughing Man," returns tomorrow night, Friday Dec. 16 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. GHOST WHISPERER fans will be challenged to decode the hidden message embedded into his eerie laugh. "The Laughing Man" made his first appearance in the November 4 episode as a haunting figure who showed up just when it seemed the episode was over. While walking through town after having successfully helped an earthbound spirit, Melinda (Jennifer Love Hewitt) caught the eye of "The Laughing Man," who chuckled maniacally at the frightened Melinda before vanishing. His image and laugh was soon featured on CBS.com with a hidden message. Eventually, someone cracked the code, which sent Internet sites buzzing. He'll make another cameo in tomorrow night's episode, "Undead Comic," in which Melinda helps the spirit of a troubled comedian (Jed Rees) find answers about his death so he can find closure and crossover.
