THE LEFTOVERS (HBO/Warner Bros.; W: Damon Lindelof & Tom Perrotta; D: Peter Berg) - Newcomer Margaret Qualley has been cast in the drama pilot, which "takes place after the Rapture happens but not quite like it's supposed to and centers on chief of police Kevin Garvey (Justin Theroux)." Amanda Warren, Ann Dowd, Carrie Coon, Christopher Eccleston, Liv Tyler and Michael Gaston also star. (Deadline.com)

QUARRY (Cinemax; W: Graham Gordy & Michael D. Fuller; D: John Hillcoat) - Nikki Amuka-Bird ("Luther") has boarded the drama pilot, which "is set in the 1970s and centers on Marine sniper Quarry (Logan Marshall-Green) who, upon his return home from Vietnam in 1973, finds himself shunned by those he loves and demonized by the public." She'll play Ruth, "the wife of Quarry's friend, fellow former Marine Artie (yet to be cast)." Noah Taylor, Skipp Sudduth and Stellan Skarsgard also star. (Deadline.com)
