PAX TV BEGINS PRODUCTION ON COLD TURKEY 2

Ten Unsuspecting Smokers Must Kick The Habit In Second Installment of Reality Series Premiering January 2005

(West Palm Beach, FL November XX, 2004) With the Great American Smokeout just weeks away, PAX TV announces the second installment of its popular and unconventional reality series entitled Cold Turkey 2, premiering in January 2005. Production of the series is currently underway in San Diego. Cold Turkey 2 introduces viewers to a new group of ten unsuspecting chain smokers bamboozled into thinking they were joining the cast of a Survivor-style reality show called Pushing the Limits, only to discover that theyve been brought together to quit smoking. Featuring new surprise twists in this second helping of reality TV with a message, the series explores what it takes to kick the habit and what participants experience once theyve completed this incredible adventure.

Hosted by A.J. Benza (E! Entertainments Mysteries & Scandals), participants are expected to leave their cigarettes at the door and have the opportunity to win cash prizes by participating in various physical and emotional challenges while secluded in an extraordinary home for over three weeks. Executive produced by Average Joe and Manhunt creator Stuart Krasnow, the series will wrap up its first season on PAX with an emotionally charged finale set to air on Tuesday, December 7 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
