Before Teens Hit the Beach This Weekend They Can Decide Which Celebrities Deserve Surfboards on "Teen Choice 2006" Airing Live Sunday, August 20, on FOX

BEFORE TEENS HIT THE BEACH THIS WEEKEND THEY CAN DECIDE WHICH CELEBRITIES DESERVE SURFBOARDS ON "TEEN CHOICE 2006" AIRING LIVE SUNDAY, AUGUST 20, ON FOX

Teens can turn up the heat this holiday weekend by voting on the next wave of TEEN CHOICE nominees in categories such as Choice Sleazebag, Choice Hissy Fit, Choice Rumble, Choice TV Actress, Choice Rock Track, Choice Grill and Choice Athlete, among others. Ballots are available on-line at Teenpeople.com, MySpace.com, IGN.com and FOX.com.

The coolest stars will receive coveted Teen Choice surfboard awards when TEEN CHOICE 2006, for the first time, airs live Sunday, Aug. 20 (8:00-10:00 PM ET Live/PT Tape-Delayed) on FOX, following an advance look at the glitz and glamour of the event during a hot red carpet special Sunday, Aug. 20 (7:30-8:00 PM ET Live/PT Tape-Delayed).

From now until Friday, Aug. 11, teens ages 13 through 19 can vote for the hottest celebrities in film, television, music, sports and fashion for TEEN CHOICE 2006. As the polls heat up over the summer, Wave Three will launch on July 27. Teens can continue to vote on Waves One, Two and Three through Friday, Aug. 11.
