SCI FI BOASTS STRONG FIRST QUARTER WITH DOUBLE DIGIT INCREASES AMONG YOUNGER MEN AND WOMEN

New York, NY � April 3, 2007 - Lead by strong performances from its critically acclaimed original dramatic series, including the second half of Battlestar Galactica's third season and the premiere of supernatural procedural drama, The Dresden Files, SCI FI finished the first quarter with significant increases among Adults 18�34 (up 18%), Men 18�34 (up 14%) and Women 18�34 (up 26%) in year over year comparisons.

Battlestar Galactica was the fourth ranked regularly scheduled primetime series among Adults 25-54 in basic cable during the first quarter of 2007. The popular series moved to Sunday nights when it returned for the second half of its third season on 1/21/07, improving the time period by 156% among Adults 18-49, and by 122% among Adults 25-54. The 1/28/07 episode delivered the largest Adult 18-49 audience since the second season premiered in 2005.

The Dresden Files, SCI FI's crime drama with an other-wordly twist, premiered on 1/21/07, outperforming the time period average by 175% among Adults 18-34, 96% among Adults 18-49, and 84% among Adults 25-54.

The SCI FI Original movie premiere of Earthstorm on 3/10/07 marked the best Saturday original movie among Adults 25-54 (1,324,000) since October 2005. On Monday nights, acquired series Star Trek Enterprise outperformed last year's time period average by 32% among Adults 18-49 and by 33% among Adults 25-54.
