NBC RATINGS RESULTS FOR THE WEEK OF APRIL 16-22

BURBANK, Calif. � April 24, 2007 � NBC averaged a 2.1 rating, 6 share in adults 18-49 and 6.2 million viewers overall for the week of April 16-22, according to "live plus same day" in-home viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research.

Averages for the week of April 16-22 in adults 18-49 were Fox (3.9/12), ABC (3.3/9), CBS (2.6/7), NBC (2.1/6), Univision (1.7/5), CW (1.3/4) and Telemundo (0.4/1). In overall total viewers the weekly averages were Fox (10.3 million), CBS (9.6 million), ABC (9.5 million), NBC (6.2 million), Univision (3.8 million), CW (3.0 million) and Telemundo (0.9 million).

In regular program averages through the first 31 weeks of the 2006-07 season, NBC is running even with last year's average in adult 18-49 rating (3.3 vs. 3.3). NBC and Fox (which is up 2 percent versus last year in regular program averages with a 4.2 vs. last year's 4.1) are the only major networks that are matching or bettering their year-ago regular-program averages. By that measure, both CBS and ABC are down 8 percent (from a 3.9 at this point last year to a 3.6 currently for both networks).

NBC highlights for the week of April 16-22:

* On Wednesday, the regular time period debut of "Thank God You're Here" was #1 in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and other key measures.

* Wednesday's "Thank God You're Here" improvised NBC's highest 18-49 rating in this hour in four months, posting increases of 35 percent in 18-49 and 24 percent in total viewers versus the prior four-week average for the time period.

* On Sunday, the live season finale of "The Apprentice" won its time period in adults 18-49, adults 18-34, adults 25-54 and other key measures. "The Apprentice" finale achieved that series' highest results in all key measures since January 28.

Ratings reflect "live plus same day" data unless otherwise noted. Season-to-date figures are averages of "live plus seven day" data except for the two most recent weeks, which are "live plus same day."

Additional NBC highlights for the week of April 16-22:

On Monday, April 16 from 8-9:01 p.m. ET, "Deal or No Deal" (3.3 rating, 9 share in adults 18-49, 11.2 million viewers overall) ranked #2 in adults 18-49, total viewers and #1 among men 18-49.

Monday from 9:01-11 p.m. ET, "Thank God You're Here" (2.9/7 in 18-49, 6.8 million viewers overall) retained 88 percent of its "Deal" lead-in among adults 18-49 in a time period that included competition from original telecasts of "Dancing With the Stars,' "24," "Two and a Half Men," "King of Queens" and "The Bachelor." At 10 p.m., a special "Dateline NBC" covering the Virginia Tech shootings averaged a 2.5/6 in 18-49 and 6.3 million viewers overall.

On Tuesday, April 17 at 8 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC" (1.6/4 in 18-49, 5.0 million viewers overall) was up 23 percent in 18-49 versus NBC's April 2006 average in this time period. At 9 p.m., an encore telecast of "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" averaged a 1.5/4 in 18-49 and 5.5 million viewers overall. From 10-11 p.m., an encore "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" delivered a 2.4/6 in 18-49 and 8.4 million viewers overall.

On Wednesday, April 18 at 8 p.m. ET, the regular time period debut of "Thank God You're Here" (2.7/8 in 18-49, 7.0 million viewers overall) was #1 in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and other key measures, and was up 35 percent in 18-49 and 24 percent in total viewers versus NBC's prior four-week average for the time period. "TGYH" improvised NBC's highest 18-49 rating in this slot in almost four months (since December 20, 2006).

Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET, "Crossing Jordan" (2.0/5 in 18-49, 6.8 million viewers overall) was up 18 percent in 18-49 versus the prior week and up 11 percent versus its prior four-week average. At 10 p.m. ET, an encore "Medium" averaged a 2.0/5 in 18-49 and 6.1 million viewers overall.

On Thursday, April 19 at 8 p.m. ET, "My Name is Earl" (3.0/10 in 18-49, 7.2 million viewers overall) ranked #2 in adults 18-49 and #1 in men 18-34. At 8:30 p.m., an encore telecast of "The Office" (3.0/8 in 18-49, 6.3 million viewers overall) finished within 1 share of the time period lead in adults 18-34 and was #1 among men 18-34, opposite original telecasts of CBS' "Survivor," ABC's "Ugly Betty," Fox's "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader" and CW's "Smallville."

Thursday from 9-9:31 p.m. ET, "30 Rock" averaged a 2.5/7 in 18-49 and 5.2 million viewers overall. From 9:31-10:01 p.m., "Scrubs" (2.9/7 in 18-49, 5.6 million viewers overall) built on its lead-in by 16 percent in 18-49 rating.

Thursday from 10:01-11 p.m. ET, "ER." (3.8/11 in 18-49, 9.3 million viewers overall) increased by 31 percent in 18-49 rating versus its lead-in, while competing programs on ABC and CBS both declined versus their respective lead-ins. In overall total viewers, "ER" increased by 66 percent versus its lead-in.

"ER" increased in 18-49 rating from its first half-hour to its second, while competing dramas on ABC and CBS both declined from half-hour to half-hour. "ER" ranked #1 from 10:30-11 p.m. in adults 18-49. For the full hour, "ER" ranked #2 in adults 18-49 and #1 in adults 25-54.

On Friday, April 20 from 8-9 p.m. ET, "Identity" averaged a 1.4/5 in 18-49 and 4.9 million viewers overall. At 9 p.m., "Raines" averaged a 1.3/4 in 18-49 and 5.9 million viewers overall. At 10 p.m., an encore "Law & Order" (1.7/6 in 18-49, 6.8 million viewers overall) built on its lead-in by 31 percent in 18-49 rating.

On Saturday, April 21, back-to-back encore telecasts of "Heroes." averaged a 0.6/2 in 18-49 and 2.0 million viewers overall at 8 p.m. ET, a 0.8/3 in 18-49 and 2.2 million viewers overall at 9 p.m. and a 1.0/3 in 18-49 and 2.8 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. The three-hour "Heroes" marathon grew in audience throughout the night, increasing by 83 percent in 18-49 rating and by 42 percent in total viewers from its first to its final half-hour.

On Sunday, April 22 from 7-9 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC" averaged a 1.4/4 in 18-49 and 5.5 million viewers overall. From its first half-hour to its fourth, "Dateline" increased its 18-49 rating by 80 percent (to a 1.8/5 from a 1.0/4) and its overall viewership by 74 percent (to 7.07 million from 4.07 million).

At 9 p.m. ET Sunday, "Deal or No Deal" (2.7/6 in 18-49, 9.2 million viewers overall) grew by 59 percent in 18-49 and by 38 percent in total viewers versus its lead-in from the previous hour.

At 10 p.m. ET, the season finale of "The Apprentice" (3.2/8 in 18-49, 8.0 million viewers overall) ranked #1 in its time period in adults, men and women 18-49, as well as in adults 18-34 and adults 25-54. "The Apprentice" achieved its highest 18-49 results and largest overall viewership since January 28. "The Apprentice" finale was up 33 percent in 18-49 and 28 percent in overall viewership versus the prior week
