'TALENT' TIES FOR #1 IN 18-49 RATING, GIVING IT A SHARE OF THE TOP SPOT FOR A SECOND STRAIGHT WEEK; ALSO TOPS THE LIST IN TOTAL VIEWERS FOR A FOURTH WEEK IN A ROW

NBC RANKS #2 FOR THE WEEK IN ADULTS 18-49 AND TOTAL VIEWERS

THE SUNDAY SPECIAL 'CONCERT FOR DIANA' WINS ITS TIME PERIOD IN ADULTS 18-49, 25-54 AND TOTAL VIEWERS AND IS THE #1 PROGRAM OF THE NIGHT IN TOTAL VIEWERS

BURBANK, Calif. � July 3, 2007 � Paced by "America's Got Talent," which was the #1 show of the week in adults 18-49 (tie), total viewers and other key measures, NBC ranked #2 for the week of June 25-July 1, averaging a 1.9 rating, 6 share in adults 18-49 and 5.7 million viewers overall, according to "live plus same day" in-home viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research.

"America's Got Talent" tied for the #1 show of the week in adults 18-49 (3.8/12) and was #1 outright among adults 25-54 (4.4/13) and overall total viewers (11.5 million). This is the second week in a row that "Talent" has earned a share of the #1 ranking among all programs in adults 18-49 and the fourth consecutive week that "Talent" has reigned as the #1 program in total viewers (every week of the current cycle, which launched June 5).

Overall, NBC had nine shows in the top 25 this week among adults 18-49, with "America's Got Talent" (#1, tie), "Law & Order; SVU" (#7), "Last Comic Standing" (#11), "Age of Love" (#14, tie), "The Office," 9:31 p.m. (#14, tie), "Concert for Diana" (#18, tie), "My Name is Earl" (#18, tie), "The Office," 9 p.m. (#18, tie) and "Science of Love" (#18, tie). In overall total viewers, NBC placed three shows in the top 10 � "America's Got Talent (#1), "Concert for Diana" (#8) and "Law & Order: SVU (#10).

Primetime averages for the week of June 25-July 1 in adults 18-49 were Fox (2.2/7), NBC (1.9/6), Univision (1.7/5), CBS (1.6/5), ABC (1.5/5), CW (0.7/2) and Telemundo (0.4/1). In overall total viewers the weekly averages were CBS (6.8 million), NBC (5.7 million), Fox (5.6 million), ABC (4.5 million), Univision (3.7 million), CW (1.8 million) and Telemundo (1.0 million).

In regular program averages through 41 weeks of the 2006-07 broadcast year, NBC is running within a tenth of a point of last year's average in adult 18-49 rating (3.1 vs. 3.2). Fox is also down a tenth of a point versus last year in regular-program averages (4.0 vs. 4.1), ABC is down 6 percent (from a 3.6 at this point last year to a 3.4 this year) and CBS is down 8 percent (from a 3.6 to a 3.3).

NBC highlights for the week of June 25-July 1:

* On Tuesday, "America's Got Talent" dominated its two-hour time period by all key ratings measures, more than doubling its nearest competitors in adults 18-49 and other key demographics. In the 9-10 p.m. hour, "Talent" topped original competition from the premiere of ABC's "Shaq's Big Challenge" by 133 percent in 18-49 and by nearly 8 million total viewers (or 179 percent).

* Paced by "America's Got Talent," which was the #1 show on television Tuesday night by all key measures, and with a strong time-period win by an encore "Law & Order: SVU," NBC won its fourth consecutive Tuesday night in adults 18-49 and total viewers.

* On Thursday, the series finale of "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" won its time period in adults 18-49 and other demos, delivering that series' highest 18-49 rating since its last Monday telecast on February 19.

* NBC scored its top Thursday results in six weeks in both 18-49 and total viewers as encore episodes of "My Name is Earl" and "The Office" performed above their summer-to-date averages for rebroadcasts.

* On Friday, an encore "1 vs 100" won its time period in adults 18-49, total viewers and other key measures.

* On Sunday, the special "Concert for Diana" won its time period in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and total viewers. "Concert for Diana" was the #1 program of the night in total viewers.

Ratings reflect "live plus same day" data unless otherwise noted. Season-to-date figures are averages of "live plus seven day" data except for the two most recent weeks, which are "live plus same day."

Additional NBC highlights for the week of June 25-July 1:

On Monday, June 25 from 9-10 p.m. ET, "Age of Love" (2.3 rating, 6 share in 18-49, 5.6 million viewers overall) grew by 44 percent in 18-49 rating and by 32 percent in overall total viewers versus its lead-in from the previous hour � a 1.6/5 in 18-49 and 4.3 million viewers overall for an encore telecast of the previous week's "Age of Love" premiere. "Age of Love" retained 92 percent of its week one premiere rating in adults 18-49 (a 2.3 vs. a 2.5 last week) despite a week-to-week decrease of 94 percent in lead-in from the 8 p.m. hour (a 1.6 on June 25 vs. a 3.1 for "Deal or No Deal" on June 18).

Monday at 10 p.m. ET, the special "Science of Love" (2.2/6 in 18-49, 5.2 million viewers overall) ranked #2 in adults 18-49 and #1 in adults 18-34 and in the key female demographics of women 18-49 and women 18-34. "Science of Love" retained 96 percent of its 18-49 lead-in.

On Tuesday, June 26 from 8-10 p.m. ET, "America's Got Talent" (3.8/12 in 18-49, 11.5 million viewers overall) dominated its two-hour time period by all key ratings measures, doubling its closest competitors in adults 18-34, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54. In adults 18-49, "Talent" prevailed over its closest competitor by a 138 percent margin (3.8 vs. 1.6 for Fox and ABC from 8-10 p.m.).

"Talent" once again exhibited strong growth over its two-hour telecast, increasing by 39 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 4.3/12 from a 3.1/11) and by 29 percent in total viewers (to 12.6 million from 9.8 million) from its first half-hour to its fourth half-hour. In the 9-10 p.m. hour, "Talent" topped original competition from the premiere of ABC's "Shaq's Big Challenge" by 133 percent in 18-49 (a 4.2 for "Talent" vs. a 1.8 for "Shaq") and by 179 percent, or nearly 8 million persons, in overall total viewers (12.5 million for "Talent" vs. 4.5 million for "Shaq").

Tuesday at 10 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (2.7/8 in 18-49, 8.6 million viewers overall) ranked #1 in all key ratings categories, including adults 18-49 and total viewers. "SVU" ranked #7 among all programs this week in primetime's key demographic of adults 18-49.

NBC won its fourth consecutive Tuesday night in adults 18-49 and total viewers.

On Wednesday, June 27 at 9 p.m. ET, "Last Comic Standing" (2.5/7 in 18-49, 5.6 million viewers overall) increased by 47 percent in 18-49 rating and by 40 percent in overall total viewers versus its lead-in � a 1.7/6 in 18-49 and 4.0 million viewers overall for an encore "Last Comic Standing" from 8-9 p.m. From 9-10 p.m., "Last Comic" ranked #2 in adults 18-49 and other key demos.

Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC" (2.1/6 in 18-49, 5.8 million viewers overall) finished within 0.1 of a rating point of first place in adults 18-49 and was #1 among adults 18-34.

On Thursday, June 28 from 8-8:30 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "My Name is Earl" (2.2/8 in 18-49, 5.2 million viewers overall) was up 22 percent versus its summer average for rebroadcasts (2.2 vs. 1.8) and ranked #2 in adults 18-49 and other key measures. At 8:30 p.m., a rebroadcast of "The Office" (2.0/7 in 18-49, 4.4 million viewers overall) ranked #2 in 18-49 and all key demos. From 9-9:31 p.m., a second encore of "The Office" (2.2/7 in 18-49, 4.4 million viewers overall) built by 10 percent in 18-49 versus its lead-in. From 9:31-10:01 p.m., a third encore telecast of "The Office" (2.3/7 in 18-49, 4.5 million viewers overall, built on its lead-in by 5 percent in 18-49 and was up by 15 percent in 18-49 versus that series' average for regularly scheduled repeats this summer (2.3 vs. 2.0)

Thursday from 10:01-11 p.m. ET, the series finale of "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" (2.0/6 in 18-49, 4.2 million viewers overall) scored its highest 18-49 rating since its final Monday telecast on February 19. "Studio 60" ranked #1 among adults 18-49, as well as among men 18-49 and adults, men and women 18-34.

NBC had its best Thursday primetime results in adults 18-49, total viewers and other key measures in six weeks, since the May 17 season finales of "The Office," Scrubs" and "ER."

On Friday, June 29 at 8 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "1 vs 100" (1.4/6 in 18-49, 5.1 million viewers overall) was #1 in adults 18-49, adults 25-54, total viewers and other measures. At 9 p.m., a rebroadcast "Las Vegas" averaged a 1.2/4 in 18-49 and 3.7 million viewers overall. At 10 p.m., an encore telecast of "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" averaged a 1.3/4 in 18-49 and 4.5 million viewers overall.

On Saturday, June 30 from 8-10 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "America's Got Talent" (1.1/5 in 18-49, 3.5 million viewers overall) matched NBC's highest 18-49 rating in the time period in six weeks (since May 19). From its first half-hour to its fourth, "America's Got Talent" increased its 18-49 rating by 75 percent (to a 1.4/6 from a 0.8/4) and its overall viewership by 53 percent or more than 1.5 million persons (to 4.3 million from 2.8 million). At 10 p.m., a rebroadcast of "Medium" averaged a 0.9/3 in 18-49 and 3.0 million viewers overall.

On Sunday, July 1 from 7-8 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Dateline NBC," featuring Matt Lauer's interview with Prince William and Prince Harry averaged a 1.3/5 in 18-49 and 5.6 million viewers overall, ranking #2 in adults 18-49.

From 8-9 p.m. ET, the special "Concert for Diana" (2.2/7 in 18-49, 8.8 million viewers overall) ranked #1 in adults 18-49, adults 25-54, total viewers and other key measures. "Concert for Diana" built on its lead-in from the previous hour by 69 percent in 18-49 rating and by 58 percent, or more than 3.2 million persons, in overall total viewers. From its first to its second half-hour, the special grew by 15 percent in 18-49 (to a 2.3/7 from a 2.0/7).

"Concert for Diana" was the #1 show on television Sunday night in overall total viewers, as well as in adults 25-54.

Sunday from 9-10 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Law & Order" averaged a 1.5/4 in 18-49 and 5.7 million viewers overall. At 10 p.m., a rebroadcast of "Law & Order: SVU" (1.6/5 in 18-49, 5.6 million viewers overall) won the time period in adults 18-49 and adults 18-34.
