WILL STARS SHINE BRIGHTER ON "ARE YOU SMARTER THAN A 5th GRADER?"

AMERCIAN IDOL's Clay Aiken and Kellie Pickler, Talk Show Host Regis Philbin, TV Personality Billy Bush, Skateboarder Tony Hawk And Miss America Lauren Nelson To Be Quizzed for Charity This November on FOX

Sophomore Season Premieres Thursday, Sept. 6, on FOX

As classes resume in schools across the country, celebrities also head back to the classroom to test their knowledge for charity on ARE YOU SMARTER THAN A 5th GRADER? this November, Thursdays (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

With host Jeff Foxworthy in his familiar place at the head of the class, entertainer Regis Philbin ("Live with Regis and Kelly"), on-air personality Billy Bush ("Access Hollywood"), AMERICAN IDOL finalists Clay Aiken and Kellie Pickler, skateboarding icon Tony Hawk and Miss America Lauren Nelson will add to the schoolroom antics as they try to ace the questions and earn money for charity.

The celebs will head back to class to tackle subjects they've already been taught from art to geography and math to social studies. Will the light shining on these stars dim when questions prove to be challenging? This atypical game show measures adults' lack of knowledge as revealed by how much they've forgotten since grammar school. But there is a way to "cheat" in this classroom. Adults can get some elementary help by using a "peek," "copy" or "save" from actual 5th grade classmates to determine the correct a-n-s-w-e-r and graduate toward the top prize of $1 million.

The second season of the A+ quiz show premieres Thursday, Sept. 6 (8:00-9:00 PM), and class will be in session twice a week with four original one-hour episodes airing Fridays, Sept. 14, Sept. 21, Sept. 28 and Oct. 5 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

Mark Burnett Productions produces ARE YOU SMARTER THAN A 5th GRADER? in association with Zoo Productions. Mark Burnett, Roy Bank, Barry Poznick and John Stevens serve as executive producers.
