DAN GHEESLING WINS "BIG BROTHER 10" AND THE GRAND PRIZE OF $500,000

Keesha Won $25,000 during the Live Finale Show After Being Named America's Favorite Jury Member

After living in the BIG BROTHER house for 71 days, Dan Gheesling emerged triumphant last night (Sept. 16) as the BIG BROTHER grand prize winner of $500,000 based on the votes of his former housemates on the jury. Memphis Garrett will receive $50,000 as the second place winner.

Last night, Dan Gheesling, the 25-year-old Catholic school teacher from Dearborn, Mich., faced a jury consisting of the last seven evicted Houseguests (listed in order of eviction): Libra, April, Michelle, Ollie, Renny, Keesha and Jerry. Brian, Steven, Angie and Jessie and were also present, but were not part of the jury.

After each of the seven jury members had the chance to ask the finalists questions, they voted live on air for who they wanted to win. By a unanimous vote, Dan became the grand-prize winner of $500,000. In addition, a viewer vote for their favorite jury member awarded $25,000 to Keesha.

After leaving BIG BROTHER 10, Dan and Memphis were met by family and former housemates and interviewed by Julie Chen.
