Tuesday Broadcast Delivers "Big Brother's" Largest Audience and Highest Ratings in All Key Demos on Any Night This Summer

"Big Brother" Delivers Its Largest Audience Since 2008; Highest Adult 18-49 Rating Since the 8th Edition Finale in 2007

In Its 11th Edition (10th Season), Series Audience Is Up 5% Over Last Summer

BIG BROTHER 11 continues to hit new summer highs as last night's broadcast, which addressed the removal of Chima Simone for violating "Big Brother" rules, attracted the largest audience and highest ratings among all key demographics on any night, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Tuesday, Aug. 18.

BIG BROTHER 11 TUESDAY (4.8/08, 8.08m) was tied for first with NBC in both adults 18-49 (2.9/08) and adults 18-34 (2.3/07) and was second in adults 25-54 (3.3/09). Compared to last week, BIG BROTHER 11 TUESDAY was up +12% in households (from 4.3/07), +14% in adults 25-54 (from 2.9/08), +16% in adults 18-49 (from 2.5/07), +15% in adults 18-34 (from 2.0/07) and added +1.30m viewers (from 6.78m, +19%).

This is BIG BROTHER's largest audience since BIG BROTHER 9 on Sunday 4/13/08 and highest rated with adults 18-49 since the season finale of BIG BROTHER 8 on Tuesday 9/18/07. It was the largest adult 18-34 rating since BIG BROTHER 9 on Sunday 3/30/08 and with adults 25-54 since BIG BROTHER 10 on Thursday 9/11/08.

Compared to last summer's edition, BIG BROTHER 11 is up +5% in viewers (6.86m from. 6.52m), +6% in adults 18-34 (1.9 from. 1.8) and even in adults 18-49 (2.4).
