FIRST GROUP OF PRESENTERS ANNOUNCED FOR THE 61ST PRIMETIME EMMY(R) AWARDS AIRING SUNDAY, SEPT. 20 ON THE CBS TELEVISION NETWORK

Primetime Emmy� Award nominees Simon Baker, Tina Fey, Jon Hamm, Kiefer Sutherland and Chandra Wilson along with Dana Delany, Jimmy Fallon, Alyson Hannigan, Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Stephen Moyer and Jason Segel are the first group of presenters announced for the 61ST PRIMETIME EMMY AWARDS. The telecast will be broadcast live from the NOKIA Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, Sept. 20 (8:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

SIMON BAKER is nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for CBS' "The Mentalist" for his portrayal of "Patrick Jane," an independent consultant with the California Bureau of Investigation (CBI), who has a remarkable track record for solving serious crimes by using his razor sharp skills of observation. He was also nominated for a Golden Globe in 2002 for his role in "The Guardian." In 2007, Baker transitioned from a television star to big screen leading man when he starred opposite Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway in the critically acclaimed feature "The Devil Wears Prada." Baker will soon be seen starring in two independent films released in 2009 - "The Lodger," in which he stars opposite Hope Davis, Alfred Molina, and Philip Baker Hall, and "Not Forgotten," directed by Dror Soref.

DANA DELANY is a two-time Primetime Emmy Award recipient for her role as "Colleen McMurphy" for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for "China Beach." Delany currently appears as "Katherine Mayfair" on ABC's "Desperate Housewives." Her other television credits include CBS' "Presidio Med," FOX's "Pasadena" and NBC's "Kidnapped." She also appeared in "Family Law" for which she received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series. Delany has appeared in numerous films including "Tombstone," "Housesitter," "Fly Away Home," "Exit to Eden" and "Almost You." This year, she appeared in three independent films: "Route 30," "Multiple Sarcasms" and "Camp Hope."

JIMMY FALLON was named the replacement for Conan O'Brien on "Late Night" emanating out of New York City which premiered on March 2, 2009. Fallon first garnered attention in 1998 when he joined the cast of "Saturday Night Live" and quickly became an audience favorite for his impressions of Jerry Seinfeld, John Travolta and Adam Sandler, as well as spot-on musical impressions of Justin Timberlake, Jack White and Enrique Iglesias. In 2000, Fallon became the co-anchor of the popular segment "Weekend Update" alongside Tina Fey.

TINA FEY won an Emmy this year for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series for her dead-on portrayal of Governor Sarah Palin on "Saturday Night Live," and is nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her portrayal of "Liz Lemon" in "30 Rock." In 2008, she received three Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series and Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series, all for "30 Rock." She is also the recipient of a Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series - Musical or Comedy, a SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series and a Writer's Guild Award for Comedy Series. Her big screen credits include "Baby Mama" and "Mean Girls."

ALYSON HANNIGAN plays "Lily Aldrin" in the CBS comedy "How I Met Your Mother," which has earned a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Comedy Series. Hannigan's additional television credits include the hit series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Angel," where she portrayed "Willow Rosenberg." Her feature film credits include "American Pie," "American Pie 2" and "Date Movie."

JON HAMM received his second Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for his role as "Don Draper" on AMC's "Mad Men." Hamm also won the 2008 Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series - Drama and has been nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series (2008), and Screen Actors Guild Awards for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series. He is also nominated for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for the "30 Rock."

BLAKE LIVELY portrays "Serena van der Woodsen" on the hit television series "Gossip Girl," which in 2008 she received two Teen Choice Awards for Breakout Female Star and Best Actress in a TV Drama. On the big screen, Lively starred opposite Robin Wright Penn, Julianne Moore, Alan Arkin and Keanu Reeves in "Private Lives of Pippa Lee," which premiered at the Berlin Film Festival in February 2009. She also appeared in the feature film "New York I Love You," a compilation of 5 shorts which also premiered in February 2009.

LEIGHTON MEESTER stars in The CW hit series "Gossip Girl" as "Blair Waldorf," which earned her the 2009 Teen Choice Award for Choice TV Actress: Drama. Her additional television credits include "Entourage," "Shark" and "House M.D.," among many others.

STEPHEN MOYER stars in Alan Ball's Golden Globe nominated series "True Blood" on HBO as "Bill Compton." Other US television credits include leading roles in "Princess of Thieves," NBC's mini-series "Uprising" and USA Network's Golden Globe and Emmy-nominated "The Starter Wife."

JASON SEGEL is known for his role as "Marshall Ericksen" on the CBS comedy "How I Met Your Mother," a role which earned him Entertainment Weekly's EWwy nomination for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series in 2009. His television credits include "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," "Undeclared" and "Freaks and Geeks." His recent feature credits include "I Love You, Man," "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" and "Knocked Up."

KIEFER SUTHERLAND is nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries or a Movie for his role as "Jack Bauer" on "24: Redemption," which has also earned four additional nominations. Sutherland received his first Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for "24" in 2006.

CHANDRA WILSON received two Primetime Emmy Award nominations this year. The first is for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series as "Dr. Miranda Bailey" on "Grey's Anatomy" and the second for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries or a Movie as "Yvonne" in "Accidental Friendship". She has earned a Screen Actors Guild Award for both Best Actress in a Drama Series and Best Drama Series Ensemble, a Peoples' Choice Award and three NAACP Image Awards.

The 61ST PRIMETIME EMMY� AWARDS is being produced by Don Mischer Productions. Multiple Emmy Award winner Don Mischer recently produced and directed "We Are One: The Obama Inaugural Celebration at the Lincoln Memorial," and the Bruce Springsteen Super Bowl XLIII Halftime Show.
