'MENCIA,' 'RENO 911' TO RETURN TO COMEDY CENTRAL IN MAY

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- "Mind of Mencia" and "Reno 911" will kick off Comedy Central's summer schedule, the network confirmed this week.

"Mencia" will launch its fourth season on Wednesday, May 21 at 10:30/9:30c while "Reno" will return for the back half of its fifth season on Thursday, May 22 at 10:30/9:30c.

As a build up to the former, look for the original stand-up special "Carlos Mencia: Performance Enhanced" on Sunday, May 18 at 9:00/8:00c.

Also on tap this summer (premiere date to be announced): newcomer "Reality Bites," an "over-the-top satirical spoof of the reality genre."
