Exclusive: FOX to Give "Glee" Expanded "Idol" Boost

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- "Glee" fans are going to have to wait an extra 30 minutes for the show's spring premiere, but with good reason.
Network sources have confirmed to the site exclusively "American Idol" will now run 90 minutes on Tuesday, April 13 with "Glee" airing at 9:30/8:30c. Said development means FOX will push into the 10:00/9:00c hour for the second time this year, the first being "24's" season opener in January.
"Glee" will then resume its regular Tuesday, 9:00/8:00c time period on April 20.
