FOX Cuts Tuesday Episodes of 'Joe Millionaire'
By Brian Ford Sullivan (TFC)

CHICAGO (thefutoncritic.com) -- FOX has decided to make "Joe Millionaire" a once-a-week affair, as the network announced yesterday it will drop its extra Tuesday airings.

FOX had originally planned to run episodes of the reality series Mondays and Tuesdays at 8:00/7:00c up until its two-hour finale on Monday, November 24. The network will now stick with only its Monday airings, likely bumping the show's finale until December. In its place on Tuesday nights FOX plans to run of mix of drama encores and sitcom repeats, details of which you can find below:

Tuesday, November 4:
8:00/7:00c - "24: Day 3: 1:00-2:00 PM" (Repeat)
9:00/8:00c - "24: Day 3: 2:00-3:00 PM"

Tuesday, November 11:
8:00/7:00c - "That '70s Show: Over the Hills and Far Away" (Repeat)
8:30/7:30c - "That '70s Show: Thank You" (Repeat)
9:00/8:00c - "24: Day 3: 3:00-4:00 PM"

Tuesday, November 18:
8:00/7:00c - "That '70s Show: Misty Mountain Hop" (Repeat)
8:30/7:30c - "The Simpsons: Brake My Wife, Please" (Repeat)
9:00/8:00c - "24: Day 3: 4:00-5:00 PM"

Tuesday, November 25:
8:00/7:00c - "An American Idol Christmas"
9:00/8:00c - "24: Day 3: 5:00-6:00 PM"

The previously announced reality series "The Simple Life" will then take over the slot on December 2. The moves are undoubtedly a result of a less than stellar showing for "Joe's" second season. Both its Monday and Tuesday airings this week finished dead last among the four major networks in adults 18-49 according to fast national data, a far cry from its ratings dominance last season.

This article was updated with additional information on Saturday, November 1.
