CHICAGO (thefutoncritic.com) -- NBC has extended its run of "The Tracy Morgan Show" by five installments, bringing its season total to 18 episodes.
"Tracy" has been a solid albeit unspectacular performer for the Peacock. Already five episodes into its run, the series has averaged 8.5 million viewers and a 3.4 rating/10 share among adults 18-49 in its Tuesday, 8:00/7:00c time period. This past Tuesday, "Tracy" narrowly beat ABC's heavily-promoted interview with President Bush in the key adults 18-49 demographic (3.3 vs. 3.2), but fell short of time slot winner "That '70s Show" (3.9).
David M. Israel and Jim O'Doherty are the executive producers of the series, a co-production of Carsey-Werner-Mandabach, Broadway Video Television and NBC Studios.
