ABC Doubles 'Home Edition' Order

CHICAGO (thefutoncritic.com) -- ABC has extended its commitment to "Extreme Makeover: The Home Edition," ordering six additional episodes of the series. The pickup brings its season total to 12 episodes.

A special premiere of "Home Edition" was seen by 12.1 million viewers in December. The series, which comes from Endemol USA, will settle into its regular Sunday, 8:00/7:00c time slot beginning February 15.

The news comes on the heels of today's six-episode order by ABC for "Deal or No Deal," which also is produced by Endemol USA.
