PATTY DUKE SEES DOUBLE

In "Murder Without Conviction," Patty Duke stars as a mother superior who helps clear the names of prodigious savant twins accused of a 30-year-old murder. As one of television's most famous twins herself, the Oscar� and three-time Emmy� Award winner felt nothing but compassion for her costar, David Proval, who was cast in the dual role.

"Each of the characters that he plays are remarkably demanding. Then you put them in the same day, within the same hour - there is a skill involved in being able to pull that off. Besides how gifted he is. And as I stood there and watched it, I thought, 'Thank God it isn't me!'"

"Murder Without Conviction" premieres Sunday, September 5 (8/7c) on the Hallmark Channel.
