"THE LATE LATE SHOW" ANNOUNCES SLATE OF UPCOMING GUEST HOSTS

D.L. Hughley, Michael Ian Black and Ana Gasteyer to follow Drew Carey

Worldwide Pants Incorporated, which produces THE LATE LATE SHOW, announced a schedule of guest hosts for upcoming episodes of the CBS program, as well as a sampling of other guest hosts who will be following David Letterman in the weeks ahead.

Following Drew Carey, who wraps up his guest host slot tonight, will be comedian D.L. Hughley, who will host Wednesday through Friday, September 22-24. Next week's LATE LATE SHOW will feature actor/comedian Michael Ian Black, formerly of Worldwide Pants production Ed, on Monday and Tuesday (September 27th and 28th) and Saturday Night Live alum Ana Gasteyer on Wednesday and Thursday (September 29th and 30th).

Other guests lined up to host THE LATE LATE SHOW in the coming weeks include Tom Arnold, Tom Dreesen, David Alan Grier, Ahmad Rashad, Jim Rome, and Aisha Tyler.

"We're thrilled to have such gifted comics leading off our first two weeks of guest hosts for the fall, and we're flattered that there has been such enormous interest from talented people wanting to follow Dave," said Rob Burnett, President and CEO of Worldwide Pants Incorporated.

Upcoming guests on this week's LATE LATE SHOW include Daryl Hannah (tonight), Less Than Perfect star Sara Rue (tomorrow), hip-hop entertainer Nelly (Thursday) and actress Angela Bassett (Friday). THE LATE LATE SHOW will continue with its guest-host format until a permanent replacement for five-year host Craig Kilborn is in place, at least through the end of October.

THE LATE LATE SHOW broadcasts weeknights (12:37-1:37 AM, ET/PT) following the LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN. Both shows are productions of Worldwide Pants Incorporated.
