MUSIC SUPERSTAR TIM MCGRAW RETURNS TO NBC FOR HIS SECOND TELEVISION SPECIAL 'TIM MCGRAW: HERE AND NOW' WHICH WILL AIR WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 24 (8-9 pm ET)
BURBANK, Calif. -- November 1, 2004 -- On the heels of his box office success with "Friday Night Lights" and Billboard chart topping CD, "Live Like You Were Dying," music superstar Tim McGraw returns to NBC for his second music special, "Tim McGraw: Here and Now" which will air Wednesday, November 24 (8 ? 9 pm ET).
McGraw traveled to Green Bay, Wisconsin for two concert performances which include a duet with his wife, music superstar Faith Hill and a special appearance by Green Bay Packers' quarterback Brett Farve. Also included in the special is a duet with Nelly of their hit single, "Over and Over."
McGraw is experiencing his career best year with the launch of his new record "Live Like You Were Dying," which debuted with sales of 766,000 in its first week and has now gone on to sell 2 million copies. He broke a 30-year record with a 10 week #1 single with the album's title track, has become the only country music artist to have a #1 song on Billboard's Mainstream Top 40 with "Over and Over," his duet with Hip Hop artist Nelly, celebrated a top-rated $50 million grossing 2004 concert tour and made his acting debut in October in the feature film "Friday Night Lights."
Tim McGraw and Anthony Eaton are executive producers of this special from Tall Pony Productions. Sherman Halsey will direct.
