Brad Paisley Hits the Big Easy for Mardi Gras in CMT's Exclusive Performance Special 'CMT Brad Paisley's Muddi Gras' Premiering March 11

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif., Jan. 14 -- Amid the purple, green and gold clad revelers filling the streets of New Orleans for Mardi Gras will be a signature white Stetson worn by top-selling country star Brad Paisley. Paisley celebrates carnival season with CMT viewers in the exclusive performance special BRAD PAISLEY'S MUDDI GRAS, premiering on Friday, March 11 at 8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT.*

Named for Paisley's current release "Mud On The Tires," the one-hour BRAD PAISLEY'S MUDDI GRAS will feature Paisley immersed in the French Quarter festivities and in a special concert performance from the New Orleans House of Blues.

Since his debut in 1999, five-time CMA award-winning star Brad Paisley has established himself as one of country's finest entertainers. By the close of 2004, Paisley had accomplished two career milestones: His first RIAA double-platinum certification -- when his most-recent album, "Mud On The Tires," shipped over 2 million units -- and the celebration of over 5 million career units sold of his three-album catalog. "Mud On The Tires" was among country's Top 10 selling albums of 2004. This multiple Grammy, ACM and CMA nominated artist's outstanding performance style and stellar songwriting have also earned him the proud distinction of being the Grand Ole Opry's youngest cast member. His three No.1 and nine Top 5 hits include his current chart-climber "Mud On The Tires," as well previous fan favorites-"Celebrity," "Little Moments," "I'm Gonna Miss Her (The Fishing Song)" and "He Didn't Have to Be"-all of which he wrote or co-wrote.
