BURBANK, Calif. -- January 13, 2005 -- Jim Carrey, Goldie Hawn, Scarlett Johansson, Anthony LaPaglia, Matthew McConaughey and Lisa Marie Presley have been set as presenters at the Golden Globe Awards -- The 62nd Annual to be telecast live on NBC Sunday, January 16 (8 11:00 p.m. EST) from the Beverly Hilton Hotel. They join previously-announced presenters Patricia Arquette, Kate Beckinsale, Halle Berry, Will Ferrell, Topher Grace, Dustin Hoffman, Kate Hudson, Samuel L. Jackson, Diane Keaton, Jesse L. Martin (NBC's "Law & Order"), Megan Mullally, Al Pacino, Mekhi Phifer (NBC's "ER"), Prince, Tim Robbins, Meryl Streep, Charlize Theron, Usher, Mark Wahlberg, Naomi Watts and Renee Zellweger.

The excitement of the glamour-packed red carpet arrivals of these stars and many others will be captured by the NBC hour-long "pre-show" special -- "The Golden Globes Arrival Show (Jan. 16, 7-8 p.m. ET) -- preceding NBC's "live" telecast of "The Golden Globe Awards 62nd Annual." Pre-show hosts Nancy O' Dell ("Access Hollywood") and Lisa Ling (National Geographic Ultimate Explorer) will conduct pre-event interviews with some of the biggest entertainment names in the world, allowing nominees and celebrities to share their predictions with millions of viewers.

Robin Williams will receive this years Cecil B. DeMille Award from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association for his outstanding contribution to the entertainment field.

The Golden Globe Awards, regarded worldwide as The Hollywood Party of the Year, will be seen in more than 150 countries worldwide and is one of the few awards ceremonies that span both television and motion picture achievements.

The events rating growth has exceeded 500% since it became an annual event on NBC ten years ago. Last Januarys telecast was one of 2004s top two highest-rated awards telecasts.

The pre-show special and the telecast of the Golden Globe Awards ceremony will both be produced by dick clark productions in association with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. Lorenzo Soria is President of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. Dick Clark and Barry Adelman are executive producers. Al Schwartz is consulting producer. Ken Shapiro is producer. Ron Weed is co-producer.
