NBC'S HIT DRAMA SERIES 'CROSSING JORDAN' ANNOUNCES THE WINNER OF THE WEB BLOG "BEACON HILL MURDER" MYSTERY IN THE EPISODE AIRING SUNDAY, APRIL 3

BURBANK - April 1, 2005 - In conclusion to the successful online blogging campaign launched by NBC's hit drama "Crossing Jordan" in February, the winner of the interactive promotion will be announced on-air in the episode slated to air on Sunday, April 3 (10-11:00 p.m. ET).

The website -- www.nigelblog.com -- which was launched on Sunday, February 13, featured information about old, unsolved murder cases focusing on a triple homicide known as "The Beacon Hill Murders." The blog included forensic evidence, autopsy results and police reports on the cases with new information being continually posted along with comments from Nigel (Steve Valentine) and the other "Jordan" characters in response to the viewer's ideas on the investigation.

Over the two-month period of the campaign, approximately 68,820 unique viewers logged onto the site. Over the life of the promotion, pageviews numbered close to half a million, with a spike in activity on the site over the final three days yielding a total of 120 correct answers to the puzzle.

Participants were offered a "reward" for helping solve the murder case and those who correctly answered online questions about the clues provided were entered to win a Crossing Jordan prize package. A Grand Prize winner was randomly selected from the entrants 120 who solved the mystery correctly following the reveal of the final clue last week. In addition to the grand prize winner, there were three weekly winners who also received prize packages. The prize packages include a Jordan Cavanaugh framed diploma from Tufts University, a "Crossing Jordan" Barn Coat and baseball cap, the "Crossing Jordan" soundtrack CD, an autographed Cast Photo and an autographed script.

"Crossing Jordan" is from Tailwind Productions in association with NBC Universal Television Studio. Tim Kring (NBC's "Providence") is creator and executive producer; Dennis Hammer and Allan Arkush are executive producers.
