Three New Records: Adult Swim Charts Largest Monthly Total Day Delivery of Adults 18-34, Adults 18-24 and Men 18-24 in Ad-Supported Basic Cable History

Adult Swim Programming Claims 15 of Top 50 Basic Cable Programs in April for Adults 18-34

In its first month as an individually rated network, Adult Swim set three new records for the largest monthly total day delivery of adults 18-34, adults 18-24 and men 18-24 in ad-supported basic cable history, according to Nielsen Media Research. The achievement continued Adult Swim�s streak as the #1 ad-supported cable network for delivery of adults 18-34, adults 18-24, men 18-34 and men 18-24. With the outstanding performances of Family Guy, Futurama and its newest original Robot Chicken, the late-night service also claimed 15 of the top 50 basic cable programs in April for adults 18-34. Adult Swim also ranked #3 in April for total day delivery of adults 18-49�ahead of such competition as USA, Lifetime, Nickelodeon, MTV, Spike TV and FX�and #5 in total day delivery of persons 2+.

Highlights of Adult Swim�s April performance include the following: (Note: as Adult Swim was not its own network in 2004, year-to-year comparisons are not applicable.)

ADULT SWIM in April (Monday-Thursday, Saturday-Sunday, 11 p.m.-6 a.m.)

- Adults 18-34 delivery totaled 413,000, with a 0.6 rating

- Adults 18-24 delivery totaled 216,000, with a 0.8 rating

- Men 18-34 delivery totaled 267,000, with a 0.8 rating

- Men 18-24 delivery totaled 148,000, with a 1.1 rating

- Adults 18-49 delivery totaled 534,000, with a 0.4 rating.

Among Adult Swim�s programming standouts in April, telecasts of Family Guy claimed the #18, #26, #27, #31, #37, #39, #41, #42 and #45 spots on the list of the month�s top 50 programs among adults 18-34. Futurama similarly nabbed the #24, #46 and #48 spots. And the network�s newest original series, Robot Chicken (Sunday, 11:30 p.m.), pecked its way to #36, #38 and #50 on the April list.

Adult Swim (AdultSwim.com), launched on Cartoon Network in 2001, is Turner Broadcasting System, Inc.�s network dedicated to edgy animated comedy and action series, both original and acquired, airing Saturday-Thursday from 11 p.m-6 a.m. (ET, PT).
