JON HOOKSTRATTEN JOINS FOX BROADCASTING COMPANY AS EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT, NETWORK DISTRIBUTION

Jon Hookstratten has been named Executive Vice President, Network Distribution for Fox Broadcasting Company, it was announced today by Ed Wilson, President of the Fox Television Network, to whom he will report.

Mr. Hookstratten, who joins the network June 13, assumes all day-to-day supervision of the FOX Television Network distribution system and relationships with the 25 owned-and-operated Fox Television Stations as well as the 184 FOX local broadcast affiliates.

"Jon is a truly gifted television executive," said Mr. Wilson. "He is also an excellent negotiator - equally adept at understanding and communicating either side's perspective. Most importantly, he is a real leader who will help us create a more dynamic network-affiliate relationship."

He joined NBC after serving from 1996 to 2000 as Senior Vice President of Business Affairs for CBS Enterprises, where he oversaw all business affairs and contractual issues related to the division's domestic distribution activities.

Prior to CBS, Mr. Hookstratten was a partner in Hookstratten & Hookstratten, a prominent Beverly Hills law firm representing a diverse roster of news, sports and entertainment talent. He also handled business affairs for Carson Productions, with responsibility for the company's network series, including NBC's "The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson" video production and distribution.

From 1986 to 1998, Mr. Hookstratten served as Assistant to the Chairman at McAndrews and Forbes Group in New York, the holding company owned by Ronald O. Perelman, and continued to represent the firm while a partner at Hookstratten & Hookstratten. Previously, Mr. Hookstratten worked at the corporate law firm of Fierstein and Sturman, where he specialized in business transactional law.

A lifelong resident of Los Angeles, Mr. Hookstratten earned a degree in Business Administration at the University of Southern California and a J.D. degree from Southwestern Law School. He and his wife, Marion, have three children.
