He's Baaack! Adam Carolla Returns to COMEDY CENTRAL(R) with the Debut of 'Too Late with Adam Carolla'

New Late Night Series Premiering on Monday, August 8 at 11:30 PM*

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., July 14 -- COMEDY CENTRAL's favorite son has returned home. Adam Carolla is back and this time he's taking on late night with the launch of "Too Late with Adam Carolla." The half-hour show will premiere on Monday, August 8 at 11:30 p.m.

Hosted by Carolla, "Too Late with Adam Carolla" is a half-hour series airing Monday through Thursday nights. Carolla will provide his unique comedic take on the events of the day, with a focus on pop culture, all in front of a live studio audience. Each show will include opening comments, an interview with a single guest, live phone calls from viewers and pre-taped interviews with Carolla and real people on the street.

"It's a joyous reunion -- like a battered wife moving back in with her alcoholic husband," said Carolla about his codependent relationship with COMEDY CENTRAL.

Carolla's past collaborations with COMEDY CENTRAL include co-hosting the hit series "The Man Show," executive producing COMEDY CENTRAL Films' "Windy City Heat" and voicing "Birchum," a foul-mouth puppet featured on the successful series "Crank Yankers," which he also co-created and executive produced with Jackhole Industries.

"Too Late with Adam Carolla" is produced by Jackhole Industries. Carolla and Daniel Kellison will serve as executive producers. Jim Sharp and Angela Howard are the executives in charge of production for COMEDY CENTRAL.

Jackhole Industries consists of three partners; Adam Carolla, Daniel Kellison and Jimmy Kimmel. Their recent programs include COMEDY CENTRAL's "Crank Yankers" and "The Man Show," MTV's "The Andy Milonakis Show," ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," TLC's "The Adam Carolla Project," debuting in early October and COMEDY CENTRAL's upcoming "Too Late with Adam Carolla" debuting on August 8.

COMEDY CENTRAL, the only all-comedy network, currently is seen in more than 87 million homes nationwide. COMEDY CENTRAL is owned by Comedy Partners, a wholly-owned division of MTV Networks. COMEDY CENTRAL is a registered trademark of Comedy Partners. COMEDY CENTRAL's Internet address is http://www.comedycentral.com.
