OXYGEN CELEBRATES BRAVE AND BOLD WOMEN IN NEW TRUE CRIME SERIES, RELENTLESS

------

From Jupiter Entertainment, the Producers of Hit Oxygen Series Snapped, Relentless Premieres in October 2005

------

LOS ANGELES, July 14, 2005 -- When faced with injustice or a seemingly unsolvable mystery, most people just give up. NOT the women of Relentless. This new true crime series profiles courageous women from diverse backgrounds - women who are ordinary except for their willingness to break all the rules, face danger, and go to extremes in order to right a terrible wrong. Relentless is produced by Jupiter Entertainment, the producers of hit Oxygen series, Snapped. Oxygen has ordered 6 half hour episodes of the series, set to debut in October 2005.

In addition to working brilliantly as a companion to the successful franchise Snapped, what appealed most to us about Relentless are the extremely compelling stories of these heroic women, said Debby Beece, Oxygen President of Programming and Marketing. At Oxygen, we love fearless women and we love to celebrate them in shows like Relentless.

Relentless is a gripping half-hour true crime series about brave, bold women who make unusual choices and arent afraid of bucking the system. Each of the women were faced with a mystery or crime and had to rely on their own inner resources to make sure that justice was done.

In each episode, the viewer will be guided through the story by the relentless heroine herself as she retraces her steps and tells the viewer about her challenges, defeats and ultimate triumph in her search for the truth. The show will examine the evidence and fill in the blanks with re-enactments.

Some of the women profiled include:

Kathi Spiars -- Kathi was secretly thrilled by her husbands air of mystery. His cache of gold bars, his stories about the CIA, and his extravagant gifts convinced her that he was a romantic, James Bond type. Then she made a discovery about his past that left her shaken and inspired her to set off on a quest for the truth. Facing the skepticism of the authorities and threats of violence from her once-loving husband, Kathi was undeterred and uncovered evidence of his criminal past that eventually landed him in jail.

Lynn Frey -- When her drug-addicted stepdaughter disappears and the cops refuse to investigate, a womans search for answers takes her to the seedy streets of Vancouvers east side. There her investigation unearths the shocking secret behind her stepdaughters death and unmasks the worst serial killer in Canadian history.

Relentless is produced by Deborah Dawkins for Jupiter Entertainment. In addition to Snapped, Jupiters roster of successful programming includes A&Es City Confidential, History Channels Hands on History, Animal Planets King of the Jungle, and Court TVs Dominick Dunnes Power, Privilege and Justice. Kimberly Chessler serves as executive in charge of production for Oxygen.
