[via press release from UPN]

UPN FINISHES NOVEMBER WITH GROWTH IN ADULTS 18-34 AND WOMEN 18-34, BEATING THE WB IN THE DEMOS BOTH NETWORKS TARGET

Key Scheduling Moves Pay Dividends on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

Improving Over Last November, TOP MODEL Wins The Hour in Women 18-34 and Ranks Second in Adults 18-34

Paired With TOP MODEL, VERONICA MARS Gains Viewers Compared to Tuesday Telecasts Last November

EVERYBODY HATES CHRIS Establishes Beachhead for New Thursday Comedy Block With Sweep-to-Sweep Gains in the Time Period

UPN completed the Nov. 2005 sweep as one of the few networks to deliver growth over Nov. 2004 in the target demos of adults 18-34 (13%, 1.7/5) and women 18-34 (10%, 2.2/6). In adults 18-34, UPN posted more sweep-to-sweep gains than any other network.

UPN beat the WB for the Nov. 2005 Sweep in adults 18-34 (1.7/5 v. 1.5/4) and women 18-34 (2.2/6 v. 1.9/5), marking a dramatic shift from last Nov. when UPN finished just behind the WB in the key demos that both networks target.

UPN's improved Sweep performance in the target demos of adults 18-34 and women 18-34 is a direct result of key scheduling moves made this season and the strong performance of UPN's returning franchise series:

After altering the line-up and making creative changes on two of the shows, UPN's Monday comedy block is up from last Nov. by +21% in adults 18-34 (1.7/4) and +14% in women 18-34 (2.5/7).

UPN's AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL remains competitive force to be reckoned with in the Wednesday 8-9:00PM time period. TOP MODEL won its time period this Nov. Sweep among women 18-34 (4.5/13), and ranked second among adults 18-34 (2.9/9).

In its 5th cycle, TOP MODEL continued to gain steam, improving over cycle 3 last Nov. in adults 18-34 and women 18-34.

By moving VERONICA MARS to Wednesdays this season after TOP MODEL, UPN's critically acclaimed drama has gained viewers this November from its performance on Tuesdays last Nov., adding more than 200,000 viewers (2.82mil vs. 2.61mil).

In launching a new night of programming on Thursday, EVERYBODY HATES CHRIS has established a solid beachhead on the night, improving the 8-8:30PM time period by +14% in adults 18-34 (1.6/5) and women 18-34 (2.0/6).

With SMACKDOWN now on Friday, UPN has received a major boost on the night with sweep-to-swep growth of +100% among adults 18-34 (1.6/6) and +186% in men 18-34 (2.0/8).
