CORIN NELSON NAMED EXECUTIVE PRODUCER OF NBC UNIVERSAL DOMESTIC TELEVISION DISTRIBUTION'S "THE MEGAN MULLALLY SHOW"

Emmy Award-Winning Producer of "Rosie" To Helm Show

Talk/Variety Show Launches Fall 2006 From Los Angeles

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. -- December 14, 2005 -- Emmy Award-winning producer Corin Nelson has been named Executive Producer of NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution's upcoming "The Megan Mullally Show," it was announced today by Linda Finnell, NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution's Senior Vice President of Programming and Development.

Nelson, a veteran daytime television producer, won five Emmy Awards as the show-runner of "The Rosie O'Donnell Show" and has recently been under an overall development deal with Telepictures Productions.

"Corin is exactly the right person to be at the helm of this show," says Finnell. "She is a seasoned television producer who understands syndication and the daytime audience. With Megan Mullally in front of the camera and Corin Nelson behind the camera - we've got an amazing team in place."

"Like most of America, I've been a fan of Megan Mullally for years," says Nelson. "When I met Megan she was so relatable-she's got the kind of genuine warmth, irresistible wit and natural curiosity that daytime audiences will love-she's the friend you've always wanted."

Nelson spent five seasons at "The Rosie O'Donnell Show," three as the show's supervising producer/show-runner. During that time, she won five Emmy Awards, all five for Best Talk Show.

Most recently, Nelson was under an overall development and production deal with Telepictures Productions, where she created and developed formats for daytime syndication, producing a number of pilots and presentations, including this season's "The Tyra Banks Show."

Additionally, Nelson worked for VH1 for several years, where she created and produced original programming and supervised production of the network's hit franchise "VH1 Goes Inside."

Nelson began her career in entertainment publicity, overseeing New York and Los Angeles publicity departments for Columbia Pictures, Tri-Star Pictures, Gramercy Pictures and Savoy Pictures in New York and Los Angeles. She was responsible for the generation and execution of the studios' national publicity and promotional campaigns, successfully launching close to 100 films including "Four Weddings and a Funeral," "Single White Female," "Prince of Tides" and "Fargo."
