OSCAR AND GOLDEN GLOBE WINNER JAMIE FOXX BRINGS HIS #1 ALBUM TO NBC WITH "JAMIE FOXX: UNPREDICTABLE" PREMIERING WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 25

Mary J. Blige, Snoop Dogg, Stevie Wonder and Other Musical Artists to Perform

BURBANK, Calif. -- January 4, 2005 -- With the release of his top-selling new album "Unpredictable," Oscar and Golden Globe winner Jamie Foxx ("Ray") brings to NBC his first musical special which showcases some of the music industry's biggest performers in "Jamie Foxx: Unpredictable" on Wednesday, Jan. 25 (9-10 p.m. ET).

Filmed at the historic Orpheum Theatre in downtown Los Angeles, the special brings together a concert with celebrated artists from the R&B and hip-hop worlds. Foxx performs with musical legend Stevie Wonder, R&B singers Mary J. Blige and Angie Stone, and hip-hop artists Snoop Dogg, The Game and Common. The performances will include the hit single "Unpredictable," a duet of the remake "Love Changes" with Blige, and a medley of "Gold Digger" and "With You" with Snoop Dogg and The Game.

The inspirational special centers on the milestones of Foxx's life and his musical influences growing up in Texas. Dramatic vignettes lead up to each musical performance and portray childhood conversations with his grandmother and family minister, as well as life-changing events such as falling in love and the birth of his daughter.

Foxx recently finished production on the feature film "Miami Vice" with director Michael Mann and fellow co-star Colin Farrell, and will soon begin filming the musical "Dreamgirls." Last year the actor received Academy and Golden Globe Awards for his portrayal of legendary musical artist Ray Charles in "Ray." His other film credits include "Jarhead," "Collateral" and "Ali."

Foxx's newly released album "Unpredictable" is currently #1 on Billboard charts. In 2005, the prolific entertainer was nominated for three Grammy Awards for his collaborations with hip-hop artist Kanye West and for the single "Creepin'" on the Luther Vandross tribute album.

Foxx serves as an executive producer along with Marcus King, Stu Schreiberg and Marilyn Seabury. "Jamie Foxx: Unpredictable" is a production of Foxxhole and Triage Entertainment.
