Your ABC TCA Questions Answered: Game Over for 'Emily,' Other News
By The Futon Critic Staff (TFC)

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- The death of "Emily's Reasons Why Not" was just one of several announcements ABC made during its session of the TCA Winter Press Tour on Saturday.

Pulled after just one airing, the Heather Graham-led comedy won't be returning to the Alphabet's schedule as previously indicated on February 6. In its place, the network will begin airing expanded two-hour, first-run installments of "The Bachelor" at 9:00/8:00c starting that night.

Production was halted on "Emily's" after six episodes, meaning five installments will sit on the shelf. Lead-out "Jake in Progress" however will continue shooting its 13-episode order despite its equally disastrous showing. No return date has been set for "Jake."

(Note: At the request of the network, the previously posted transcript has been removed.)
