ABC ANNOUNCES SCHEDULE CHANGES TO TUESDAY NIGHTS

ABC has announced changes to its Tuesday night lineup. Beginning Tuesday, February 14, the new schedule will be as follows: According to Jim (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET); Rodney (8:30-9:00 p.m.); According to Jim (9:00-9:30 p.m.); George Lopez (9:30-10:00 p.m.); Boston Legal (10:00-11:00 p.m.). Commander In Chief will return to the schedule on April 18.

Editors please note: On February 14 from 8:00-8:30 p.m. ET, According to Jim is pre-empted by the special A Charlie Brown Valentine, as previously announced.

We believe in Commander In Chief and want to do what we think is best for its long term prospects. With this new schedule, the show will return with a healthy run of seven straight episodes in the spring. Airing additional episodes of George Lopez and According to Jim in the 9:00 p.m. time period for the next three weeks will expose our comedies to a new audience and benefit both shows in their regular time periods, said Jeff Bader, executive vice president, Program Planning & Scheduling, ABC Entertainment.

According to Jim stars Jim Belushi as Jim, Courtney Thorne-Smith as Cheryl, Kimberly Williams-Paisley as Dana, Larry Joe Campbell as Andy, Taylor Atelian as Ruby, Billi Bruno as Gracie and Conner Rayburn as Kyle. Executive producers are Jim Belushi, Marc Gurvitz, Jonathan Stark, Suzanne Bukinik, Howard J. Morris, Warren Bell and Bob Nickman. The series is from Touchstone Television in association with Brad Grey Television.

George Lopez stars George Lopez as George, Constance Marie as Angie, Belita Moreno as Benny, Valente Rodriguez as Ernie, Masiela Lusha as Carmen, Luis Armand Garcia as Max and Emiliano Dez as Vic Palmero. Bruce Helford, Robert Borden, Academy Award-winner Deborah Oppenheimer, Sandra Bullock, George Lopez, Mark Torgove, Paul Kaplan and Dave Caplan serve as executive producers. George Lopez is produced by Mohawk Productions, Inc and Fortis Film, in association with Warner Bros. Television.

Editors please note: George Lopez will continue to air Wednesdays at 8:00 p.m., ET. Sons & Daughters will premiere on March 7, as previously announced.
