A MYSTERIOUS TEENAGER, A QUIRKY TOWN, A MAN WITH WINGS AND A SUMMER RESORT

WHAT ARE ABC FAMILY'S 2006 SUMMER ORIGINALS?

Three Scripted Dramas Premiere Throughout the Summer "Kyle XY," "Three Moons Over Milford" and "Falcon Beach"

"Fallen" the First Part of a Six-Hour Special Event To Premiere In August

New York, NY (April, 12 2006) ABC Family is launching an ambitious slate of summer programming with three new scripted dramas and the first part of a special event.

"Our summer programming lineup focuses on storytelling," said Paul Lee, president, ABC Family. "We just finished 1Q with our eleventh consecutive quarter of growth, so weve got a great platform to launch the summer, and were continuing our commitment to producing dramas of the highest quality."

KYLE XY premieres Monday, June 26 (8:00 9:00 PM ET/PT) and follows the story of Kyle (Matt Dallas), a mysterious teenage savant with the innocence of a newborn. After being found wandering in traffic and put in an institution, he meets psychologist Nicole Trager, who brings him home, much to the chagrin of her two children Lori and Josh. Even her husband Stephen is a bit wary of his wifes latest patient. As Kyle begins to show signs of brilliance, solving the mystery of his origin and potential abilities becomes the familys mission. The ten one-hour episodes are produced by Touchstone Television. Cast includes Jean-Luc Bilodeau, April Matson, Marguerite MacIntyre, Chris Olivero, Kristen Prout and Bruce Thomas.

Starring Elizabeth McGovern as Laura Davis, the quirky drama THREE MOONS OVER MILFORD premieres Sunday, July 23 (9:00 10:00 PM ET/PT). Set in a picturesque small town reflecting the world's reaction to a cosmic explosion threatening Earths existence, the residents of Milford have taken their lives to the extreme: quitting jobs, indulging vices and basically living as if each day were their last. The Davis family is no exception. Carl Davis abandons his family to travel the world, their daughter Lydia (Teresa Celentano) has taken up Wicca, and their 17 year old son Alex (Sam Murphy) is getting involved with the older neighbor next door. The quirky town of Milford is rounded out by cast members Nora Dunn, Samantha Quan and Rob Boltin. Eight one-hour episodes are being produced by Touchstone Television.

ABC Family kicks off the new branded holiday "Summer Blast" with the scripted drama FALCON BEACH two-hour premiere Monday, June 5 (8:00 10:00 PM ET/PT) (regular time period Mondays 10:00 11:00 PM ET/PT), set in a quiet New England town where locals and summer visitors mingle, and relationships change as quickly as the tide. Will the hot days of summer prove long enough to resolve the abundant seduction and scandal of Falcon Beach? The two-hour premiere and 13 one-hour episodes are produced by Original Pictures Inc. and Insight Productions. Cast includes Steve Byers, Jennifer Kydd, Devon Weigel, Melissa Elias, Morgan Kelly Lynda Boyd, Ephraim Ellis, Allison Hossack, Peter Mooney, Jill Teed, and Ted Whittall.

Also this summer comes the first installment in the six hour special event FALLEN premiering, Sunday, Aug. 13 (7:00 9:00 PM ET/PT), based on the hit book by Tom Sniegoski, starring Paul Wesley and Tom Skerritt. Over the course of the special event, FALLEN tells the story of a recently adopted teenage orphan, Aaron, and his search for his identity. On Aarons 18th birthday he begins to experience strange phenomenaanimals talking to him, terrifyingly real nightmaresand begins to realize that he may have a destiny greater than he ever imagined. FALLEN is executive produced by Sara Cooper, Mikael Salomon, Jay Saunders and Peter Donaldson, and also stars Fernanda Andrade, Alex Ferris, Chelah Horsdal, Lisa Lackey, Russell Porter and Rick Worthy.

Distributed in over 89 million homes, ABC Family features original movies, series and specials. Storytelling about today's relationships with all of their diversity, dysfunction, humor and passion.
