Awards Broadcast Live From Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium on Sunday, August 27 on NBC

LOS ANGELES, August 4, 2006�Eva Longoria, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Tina Fey, Wentworth Miller, Stephen Colbert, Helen Mirren, and Bradley Whitford have been confirmed as presenters for the 58th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards. The show, hosted by Conan O'Brien ("Late Night with Conan O'Brien"), will broadcast live from Los Angeles' historic Shrine Auditorium, Sunday, August 27 (8:00-11:00 ET Live/ PT tape delayed) on NBC.

Golden Globe nominee Eva Longoria stars as Latin sexpot "Gabrielle Solis" on ABC's "Desperate Housewives." Voted People's 2005 "50 Most Beautiful, 2006's "100 Most Beautiful People," as well as "#1 Hottest Woman in the World" on Maxim's annual "Hot 100" 2 years in a row, Longoria was named one of Rolling Stone's "People of the Year." In addition, she was named "Person of the Year" at the 2006 Alma Awards. She is the international face of L'Oreal Paris and the spokesperson in American and Latin markets for Pepsi Inc., as well as for Padres Contra El Cancer. Longoria took the lead female role in "The Sentinel" and can be seen in the indie film "Harsh Times, " this Fall. She will also voice "Lady X" in the upcoming Lions Gate animated film "Food Fight." Currently, Longoria is shooting "How I Met My Boyfriend's Dead Fiance" with Paul Rudd and Lake Bell.

Jennifer Love Hewitt portrays "Melinda Gordon" on the CBS hit drama series, "Ghost Whisperer." She is previously known to television audiences as "Sarah Reeves" from the award-winning drama series, "Party of Five." Hewitt received critical acclaim as the title role in the ABC Original Movie "The Audrey Hepburn Story," based on the life of the Academy-Award winning actress. Her career has been linked to box- office success with such films as "I Know What You Did Last Summer," for which she won a 1998 Blockbuster Entertainment Award. She has also starred in the film's sequel, " I Still Know What You Did Last Summer," comedies, "Can't Hardly Wait," "The Suburbans," "Sister Act 2," "Heartbreakers" and the action/comedy, "The Tuxedo." Love Hewitt most recently appeared in the feature Fox film "Garfield," and ""Garfield 2: A Tale of Two Kitties;" as well as the independent features, "The Truth About Love," and "If Only," both of which she produced with her production company LoveSpell Entertainment.

Emmy Award winner Tina Fey ("Saturday Night Live," "Mean Girls") writes, executive-produces, and stars as Liz Lemon in "30 Rock," set to premiere on NBC this fall. Fey recently completed her sixth season as cast member and co-anchor of the "Weekend Update" segment on NBC's "Saturday Night Live." An Emmy winner for her writing on "Saturday Night Live," Fey has been the head writer of the show since 1999. Since her transition to the front of the camera, Fey has won much acclaim - including being named one of Entertainment Weekly's "Entertainers of the Year," one of People Magazine's "50 Most Beautiful People", and, along with her fellow female castmates, one of Glamour' Magazine's "Women of The Year." Fey expanded to feature films in Spring 2004 as both a screenwriter and an actress, opposite Lindsay Lohan, in the hit comedy "Mean Girls," for which she was nominated for a Writers Guild Award for Best Adapted Screenplay.

Wentworth Miller plays the brilliant and ruthless Michael Scofield, a structural engineer who gets himself throwing into the same prison where his brother is on death row in order to break his brother out, on FOX's Prison Break. In December 2006, Miller was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actor for this role. His first acting roles included guest spots on a variety of shows including: "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," "ER" and "Popular." He has also starred in the Hallmark "mega-series" Dinotopia. Before joining the cast of "Prison Break," Miller guest starred on "Joan of Arcadia" and "Ghost Whisperer." His film credits include: "The Human Stain" and "Underworld."

Stephen Colbert is the star and executive producer of Comedy Central's hit late night series "The Colbert Report" which received four Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Individual Performance in a Variety of Music Program, and Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Series in its first season. During his run as the longest- tenured and most diverse correspondent for the "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart," Colbert helped win the show numerous Emmy and Peabody Awards as an on- air personality and show writer for the news satire. Colbert made an appearance in the film "Bewitched", and has made several guest appearances on television shows including: "Curb Your Enthusiasm", "Law and Order: Criminal Intent," "The Dana Carvey Show;" he wrote for "Saturday Night Live," and was the voice of "Ace" on the SNL animated series, "The Ambiguously Gay Duo." Colbert also appeared in a long-running commercial campaign for General Motors/ Mr. Goodwrench

Dame Helen Mirren has won numerous awards and has received numerous nominations throughout her career including an Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries or a Movie for "The Passion of Ayn Rand;" Best Actress Golden Globe for "Losing Chase;" and three consecutive Best Actress BAFTAs for her portrayal of Detective Chief Inspector Jane Tennison in the series "Prime Suspect." Mirren has most recently been nominated for an Emmy for her role opposite Jeremy Irons in HBO's "Elizabeth I." Her other credits include: "The Pledge," "Gosford Park," for which she received a SAG Award as well as Golden Globe, BAFTA, and Academy Award nominations; "Last Orders," "Teaching Mrs. Tingle," "Some Mother's Son," "The Madness of King George" (Best Actress, Cannes Film Festival and Academy Award Nomination); "Cal" (Best Actress, Cannes Film Festival); "Mosquito Coast," "The Long Good Friday," "Excalibur," "Comfort of Strangers," "Pascali's Island," and "The Cook, The Thief, His Wife and Her Lover."

Bradley Whitford is best known for his role as the sarcastic yet vulnerable, Josh Lyman, on the celebrated NBC's Emmy nominated "The West Wing." Whitford's performance earned him an Emmy Award in 2001and two Emmy nominations (2002, 2003) for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series and three Golden Globe Award nominations. His additional television credits include "The X Files," "NYPD Blue" and a role in the critically acclaimed episode "Love's Labor Lost" of NBC's hit "ER." Whitford will pair up with Sorkin again in the highly anticipated "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip." His film credits include "Kate and Leopold," "The Muse," "Bicentennial Man," "Scent of a Woman," "A Perfect World," "Philadelphia," "The Client," "My Life," "Red Corner," "Presumed Innocent" and "My Fellow Americans." Most recently, he can be seen in "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants," and "Little Manhattan."

Previously announced presenters include: Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Edie Falco, James Gandolfini, Dennis Haysbert, Felicity Huffman, Heidi Klum, Hugh Laurie, Evangeline Lilly, Matthew Perry, Jon Stewart, and Keifer Sutherland.

The 58TH ANNUAL PRIMETIME EMMY AWARDS, is being produced by NBC Universal Television Studio and is presented by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. Jeff Ross and Ken Ehrlich are the executive producers; Renato Basile and Michael B. Seligman are the producers; Danette Herman is the coordinating producer and executive in charge of talent. Louis J. Horvitz will direct.
