Old Habits Die Hard on Season Two of 'Breaking Bonaduce'

The Trials and Tribulations Continue in the Life of Danny Bonaduce Premiering Sunday, October 22 at 9:30PM*

Each Episode Will Be Available on VSPOT, VH1's Broadband Channel Every Monday Following the Show's Sunday Night Telecast

NEW YORK, Oct. 10 -- In the first season of "Breaking Bonaduce" VH1 endeavored to tape a show about Danny and his wife Gretchen's unique marriage and family life, but as production ensued the series took on a life of its own. Viewers were witness to former "Partridge Family" child star, Danny Bonaduce's descent into drug use, drinking binges and his resulting 30-day stay in rehab. What had started out as a reality show quickly turned into a documentary of a man in crisis.

Danny emerged from rehab with a new lease on life and a strong support system around him, but as with most addicts, recovery hasn't come easy for Danny and proves to be a day to day struggle. This season on "Breaking Bonaduce," premiering Sunday, October 22 at 9:30pm, Danny has attained sobriety but now he and Gretchen are left to deal with the true state of their relationship through newly sober eyes.

As Danny transfers his obsessions with substances to an obsession with his wife, Gretchen may just have reached her limit. His jealousy is stronger then ever, his need for physical intimacy seems insatiable and his behavior still has manic tendencies. Dr. Garry Corgiat is back to help the couple navigate this new journey in their marriage and Danny also has the guidance of his friend and mentor, Jason and his psychiatrist, Dr. Kumar.

Once Gretchen kicks Danny out of the house he realizes that this time Gretchen is serious and he needs to make a concerted effort to work on his behavior and their relationship if he wants this marriage to last. Danny decides it's time to relinquish all of his demons and seek help from a most surprising place -- God.

This season, viewers will get a completely honest and intimate look at how substance abuse affects not only the abuser but their family as well and the individual journey one must take for recovery. Having been to therapists, psychiatrists, group meetings and on prescription medicine, Danny desperately seeks out solace from the one place he had never tried before in hopes of being able to maintain complete sobriety.

Each episode will be available on VSPOT, VH1's broadband channel at http://vspot.vh1.com every Monday following the show's Sunday night telecast. All episodes of season two will be archived and available for on-demand viewing on VSPOT. Additionally, each week, VSPOT will include, 2-3 raw scenes not seen on-air and Dr. Gary "aftershows" where he will recap the week's happenings with Danny. All extended content will be available on VSPOT immediately following the show's Sunday night airings.
